Ukraine And Russia Ceasefire Agreement Hits Major Crisis #ukraine
Ukraine And Russia Ceasefire Agreement Hits Major Crisis On 19th March 2025 a partial ceasefire was supposedly brokered by the US to halt attacks on energy infrastructure – and then within a few hours of discussing this agreement both Ukraine and Russia, made claims of attacks in breach of the agreement. So lets look behind all the rhetoric and see what’s happening. Extended Transcript Immediately after the ceasefire was agreed, Zelensky took to X to complain of Russian drone attacks: Pic And his comments were then amplified by numerous contributors who saw the drone attacks as breaking the agreement even though no energy installations were reported as hit by Zelensky in his X comment Pic Then, from the Russian side, on Russian channel 1, there came reports of a drone attack on the Krasnodar Krai oil refinery. This refinery was still burning two days later – and indeed secondary fires were reported 4 days after. Pic According to the Kyiv Independent, on march 19 President Volodymyr Zelensky said he had agreed to stop strikes on Russian infrastructure in a phone call with Trump. But then the Sudzha gas station which historically feeds into Europe – and significantly, Hungary, was hit. Moscow decried the attack. Ukraine simply said it was a false flag and the Russians hit their own facility Pic Russian spokesman Peskov had this to say: ‘This shows once again how much we can believe and trust the Kiev regime.’ He further commented: ‘Unfortunately we see that there is no reciprocity on the part of the Kyiv regime’ You may remember that the Sudzha gas pipeline was recently the conduit through which the Russian Armed Forces mounted a successful mission into Sudzha taking the UAF completely by surprise. PIC I will leave a link to my other video about that. So where does that leave this peace initiative now? Well France 24 reports that Ukrainian defence minister Rustem Umerov described the Riyadh talks of Sunday 24th March as ‘Productive and focussed’… and was ‘working to make its goal of a just and lasting peace a reality’.
