This is supposed to help with headaches
0:01
It's going to be a headache relief cap by Theralice, and they went ahead and sent this to me
0:06
So I just want to do a quick unboxing, go ahead and test this out, and give my first impressions of this
0:11
So inside the baggie, we're going to have another baggie. And then inside this baggie is going to be the cap itself
0:18
And this thing has some pretty good weight to it. It's going to be very squishy
0:23
It kind of reminds me of gelatin in a way. And here you can see how it compresses
0:28
It also does feel really nice and cool. And on the actual fabric itself, we are going to have the logo Theral Ice
0:35
And there's going to be a bunch of little polar bears all around the cap itself
0:41
So right out of the baggie, it is going to have some sort of scent, which hopefully it goes away after a bit
0:46
And now taking a look at the inside, there are going to be focus zones, which are going to be these bits right here
0:51
So you're going to see there's going to be more cushion around it, kind of where it goes around the eyes or in certain areas of the head
0:57
now this is supposed to be a one size fits most and in this case here's how it is around me
1:04
and of course there is going to be this notch over here for the nose
1:08
and yeah it's completely black it's not see-through at all if I look towards the window I can see like
1:15
a little bit of light leaking through but it's not a lot it's not enough to like bother me
1:20
and as far as like looking downwards I can see a little bit of light so I can kind of see a bit
1:27
of the seat that I'm sitting on right now and if I go ahead and adjust it, yeah it goes
1:33
ahead and covers it up a lot better. Now this is supposed to be used for hot or cold therapy
1:38
In this case I just keeping it at room temperatures just to see how it feels It is a bit cold again right out of the baggie it does feel nice and relaxing and I can feel these kind of pressure points around kind of my eyelids it
1:53
not a lot but it's like a little bit more compared to like let's say down over here and if it's snug
1:59
around my head so if you do want to use this for the cold then this is meant to be put in the
2:04
freezer for about two hours in the included baggie and if you want it to be hot then it's just kind
2:10
goes in the microwave for about 20 seconds and then just keep adding 10 seconds until you kind
2:15
of get to the desired temperature and as far as you know how hot or how cold this is here i have
2:20
this infrared thermometer so let me go ahead and and when i go ahead and shoot at it we can see
2:26
this is at 68 about 68 degrees fahrenheit and i want to go ahead and just heat it up real quick
2:32
and then i'll come back when it's warmer so i put it in the microwave for the initial 20 seconds and
2:37
then I added 10 second intervals three times and it's going to be 93.9 degrees Fahrenheit
2:44
Oh and as far as like feel goes it feels kind of uh kind of moist in the way but it's not really
2:50
just when I go ahead and touch it it feels and now oh yeah that feels oh that feels nice and cozy
2:57
around here and as far as like smell goes when it's here I don't smell it and if I smell it
3:03
inside yeah there is still going to be that odor and yeah this feels very nice very relaxing like I can just go ahead and sleep with this on
3:17
and thankfully I didn't put it on too long in the microwave it's going to be a comfortable
3:20
temperature it's not like it's burning around me and to use it for cold therapy then that's when
3:26
I'd go ahead and just put it in the freezer for a few hours and then put it on for a bit
