I hope I'm saying that name right but today I'm taking a look at this solar power bank that I
0:04
just got. I have a bunch of different power banks I have. I have the big ones, I have the little ones
0:08
but what I don't have is a solar one which is going to come real handy now that it's actually
0:13
sunny outside. So I just want to do a quick unboxing and go ahead and just test this out and
0:17
give my first impressions of it. So for starters opening it out of the box here's the first thing
0:20
we see it's going to be the instruction manual. Right on top I'm going to see a keychain. We're
0:24
also going to have a USB-C to USB-C cable and finally the power bank itself. So here's a quick
0:29
a look at the solar power bank and up front we're going to see the large solar panel and then up top
0:34
we do see a green indicator light and that means it's currently charging so if I were to go ahead
0:38
and block off the solar panels here you can see it turns off because it's not charging and it goes
0:43
ahead and turns green now. Now taking a look at the side over here there's going to be two things
0:48
that I see one is going to be a power button and the other is going to be this hanging ring so if
0:52
you want you can go ahead and attach like a lanyard or that key ring that it came with
0:56
on the side here we're going to have two leds this is going to be for the flashlight
1:01
on the other side there's going to be nothing and on the other side we're going to have
1:05
three different ports and these are going to be input slash output ports so the output port is
1:11
going to be for the usb usb type c and then a lightning cable and now finally taking a look at
1:17
the back side this is where it gets interesting because it comes with its own cables now there's
1:22
going to be four of them three of them are going to be output So if you want to charge something such as like an iPhone because it does have this lightning connector or any USB device or any micro USB device and then this is going to be if
1:35
you want to go ahead and charge the power bank itself and I think the coolest part about this
1:39
is the fact that it also does have a wireless charging pad so if you want you can set your
1:43
phone here and it'll go ahead and charge too and now time to go ahead and turn this on so the first
1:49
thing to do is really depress the button so when I go ahead and press it here you can see the blue
1:52
indicator lights light up so now whenever I go ahead and connect something here it'll go ahead
1:57
and automatically charge but beforehand I do want to test out the light so it has to be held the only
2:02
button here has to be held for three seconds and it'll go ahead and light up and then to go ahead
2:06
and turn this off all I have to do is hold the power button again for another three seconds and it shuts right off so now to actually test this power bank I want to go ahead and check out
2:14
the cables it comes with so I'll check out the lightning cable and then right here I have my
2:18
iPhone. So when I go ahead and plug it in, it does indeed start charging. And now time for the
2:26
wireless charging pad in the back here. So I do have a case. It's not too thick. It's pretty thin
2:31
but I want to see if it still works. And yep, it does go ahead and work here. You can see the battery indicator that it's charging. And also one thing to note is the minute I go ahead
2:39
and start charging it, this green light goes ahead and starts flashing on. So overall, I see how the
2:43
solar power band can definitely come in a pinch, especially now during the sunny months. I'm pretty
2:47
happy with this i'm excited to go ahead and start using this a lot more now that i'm going out but
2:51
yeah if you're looking for a solar power bank whether it be for yourself or a gift for somebody
2:55
definitely check this one out by kuda
