So I just got this West biking bike pump
0:02
So I just want to do a quick unboxing and give you my first impressions of it. So here's all the stuff that it comes with
0:08
And all the way at the back is going to be this instruction booklet. And there's going to be these two baggies
0:13
So in the smaller baggie, there's going to be a few tools, which includes these two things followed by a case
0:18
So this is going to be if you puncture your tire and you want to fix it. And in the big baggie is going to be the pump itself
0:23
So here it is. And there's going to be a few attachments. We're going to have different ones
0:27
depending on if you want to put it on a bike, or if you just want to put it in a ball and there's also going to be two screws as well
0:33
All right so here's the pump itself and this thing is really cool. Very lightweight and pretty small
0:38
It's going to be roughly eight and a half inches but this does extend when I actually pump it and
0:43
it extends this much which brings it up to about 13 and a half inches. All right so now I see what
0:51
the screws are for. So this is going to be for this part in the middle if you want to put it on
0:55
your bike and in here there's going to be three different materials we got plastic we have velcro
1:00
and rubber and with the rubber probably the easiest to let this loose you remove this so this way
1:07
there's like no friction on it and then this can just be pulled right out from the bike and here it
1:12
is just loose and at the top of the head there's going to be this latch which once pulled like so
1:17
is going to close the valve and then here's what it looks like and if i want to use any of these
1:22
nozzles it can be inserted right over here at the top part just place it like so and this is loose
1:27
it doesn't screw in so to actually get this to tighten is going to be with the latch which again
1:32
closes the valve that is also going to tighten on this so right now if i just do this it gonna fall but when I close the valve and this is pretty tight by the way this is gonna hold it nice and firm
1:49
and there you can see the air just coming out of that little hole and since I already have this nozzle on I'm just gonna inflate my soccer ball that I just got and let's see how long this takes
2:04
All right, so that looks pretty hard enough. This took less than a minute
2:08
And one thing I didn't realize that I forgot to check is the fact that this does come out
2:13
too, which is really convenient. So I'm not going to be stuck like this, just inflating it
2:16
I have a little bit more of a hose and which makes this even longer than what I mentioned before
2:21
So the real max length is going to be 17 inches rather than the 13 and a half that I mentioned before
2:29
And also upon looking further at this, this actually can lock into place
2:33
Right here there's going to be this bit so if I just put it like this and do this there
2:39
now it's locked into place so this won't pull out. But I think I'd rather just have it pull out so I have that extra flexibility and just
2:48
even more space especially when I'm using this at my bike I don't want to be super close
2:52
to the tire like so. Alright so now when it's time to put this away this can just be unlatched and this
2:58
So overall I'm pretty happy with this bike pump really cool I think I'm going to get another one just so I can put one in my car for emergencies the one thing I wish this did have
3:06
would be like a little carrying bag so I can put these extra bits in I guess the only bag I do have
3:11
is going to be like the plastic one but a nice one would be a nice touch but yeah that's a quick
3:15
look at the west bike bike pump
