Renfo sent me their LS1 smart body scale
0:02
So in this video, I want to test this out to see how well it works. So inside the box, we're going to have the scale, a user manual, and three AAA batteries
0:09
So here's a closer look at the scale. I put the AAA batteries at the bottom. And when I step on here, you can see my weight is 190.4
0:19
And now going to the app, I set up my account profile. And now it's time to connect to devices
0:24
So here it says discover new devices. I can connect that one and their device successfully added
0:29
and now I can weigh myself again and as I'm doing so here's what the app looks like I'll hold my
0:39
phone and because I do have my phone I am going to be a little bit heavier
0:43
and there it read my weight but I'm getting this error and that's because I have my socks on so I
0:52
do have to take it off so it can read the full measurements and now I'll leave I'll put remeasure
0:58
and then let me stand here again. And there it blinks on and off. Let me see
1:12
And there now it gave me a bunch of different measurements so we can see my weight ended up
1:17
being 191, my BMI 26.1, body fat 19.5, visceral fat 9, subcutaneous fat 16.9, fat-free body weight
1:27
153.6 body water 58.1 skeletal muscle 51.9 muscle mass 146 BMR 1864 protein 18.4 bone mass 7.6 and metabolic age 26
1:43
So i currently 26 so i guess at least that on point and i can also click onto each and every one of these and it let me know what going on So currently my BMI is on the overweight side
1:53
which I know. So I do have to lose some more weight. Now I can click further details right
1:57
on top here and it'll give me some stats. So it says three stats, not up to the standard
2:02
which is my weight, my BMI, my substandard fat, then says 10 stats meet the standard and remarks
2:08
So I guess this is if I want to write any notes about it. Now there's more things I can mess around
2:11
with here such as target weight so when I click on it I can set the scale where I want to be at
2:16
so in my case I'm trying to aim for roughly about 180 pounds and confirm body fat as well too so I
2:23
want to be around 15 percent let's click confirm and there now it's set up a goal here it says I
2:29
set up a goal for 15 percent and it's currently ongoing and the same thing goes for weight and
2:34
now it updated this portion so it gives me target weight and how much I still need to lose same thing
2:39
goes for body fat. Now I can go back and it shows me a calendar of what it's like. So when I click on
2:44
it, we can see the progress so far. And so since this is day one, there's only going to be one
2:48
point. But this is of course going to change as the days pass and we can see the number go up
2:53
preferably down. And here we get more statistics about daily rate, trends, highest, and my lowest
2:58
weight. Same thing goes for BMI, body fat, and all the other metrics. Now what else can we do with
3:03
the app? We can add other things too. So for health, there's going to be tape measure, nutrition
3:07
scale and blood pressure monitor. For fitness, we have a smart treadmill and a smart jump rope
3:12
For massage, we have the Renfro Active Plus, two-in-one foot and calf massager, massage gun
3:16
iris smart, and foot and calf massager. There's also a community section for posts and more about
3:20
my profile. So as you can tell, there's a lot of information that the bodyweight scale lets you
3:24
know on the app, and I'm still far from reaching my goal, but it's also going to be higher right
3:28
now just because it's more throughout the day. I should be more in the upper 80s rather than
3:32
in the 90s. But yeah, that's a quick look at the bodyweight scale from Renfro
