OiWalk sent me this triple monitor setup for my laptop so I just want to do a quick unboxing
0:05
go ahead and get a chance to use this on my MacBook and see how well this works. So taking
0:10
this out of the box is actually going to be real fun just because this is a pretty luxurious looking
0:15
unboxing and right here it's going to tell me everything it's compatible with and how to go
0:19
ahead and set up the screen but of course most importantly let's see what it goes ahead and
0:24
looks like. It comes with this foam padding to go ahead and protect everything and then right here
0:29
we're going to have a quick start guide that shows us how to go ahead and further use it. And then
0:34
right here, I can go ahead and just lift this up. And this definitely has some good weight to it
0:39
Wow, I think this weighs probably just as much, if not more than my laptop. But let me put this to
0:44
the side for now and see what else comes in here. There's going to be another foam piece and underneath
0:47
there's going to be a plethora of cables. So on the left side here, it's going to be all the USB-C
0:52
cables Right here it going to be USB to USB This one going to be USB to USB except one is angled and we going to have two of those Now on the right side are our other cables Here going to be another USB C to USB Type A port and then two identical HDMI to whatever this port is
1:12
Alright, so now here's the triple screen itself, and it does have this metal latch, or magnetic latch that I can just go ahead and just take off just like so, and then pull this right out
1:23
This black part over here is actually going to be a protectant. So I can go ahead and take that out as well too
1:28
Of course, it's going to go ahead and be magnetic, which wraps around both of these screens over here
1:33
And then here's a closer look at it. So yeah, it's real nice that it comes with this just to prevent the sides of the screens from scratching
1:38
All right, so here it is fully extended out. And it also does have these plastic films that could just come right off just like so
1:47
And the same thing on the other side. and now I can go ahead and just fit my laptop right in between both of these and
1:54
it does have these rubber grips on the side just to go ahead and protect the screen and also to go ahead and just grab it just like so and then I can go ahead and just stretch it out just like that now the screens are attached but to give this some extra support and keep it from toppling over it does have this
2:08
over here I just go ahead and open it up and then just push it down this is going to go ahead and just support the weight of all of this all right so after attaching the monitors next thing to do
2:15
is just to go ahead and arrange the displays correctly so I went ahead and put one to the
2:20
left side just like this and then the other to the right side now what I do want to go ahead and do
2:25
and just make sure that this is set to 1920 by 1080 and then right here when I press it you can
2:31
see it goes ahead and switches I can double tap that and it'll go ahead and do full screen
2:35
so now everything looks a lot nicer so now right here I can have audacity
2:39
in the center I can have final cut pro and on the left screen I can go ahead and have youtube
2:43
and it just makes for a really nice efficient and portable workspace now on the left side over here
2:49
this is where all the ports are going to be I went ahead and just attached it via usbc but there's
2:53
gonna be another USB C option here or a mini HDMI port at the bottom and then same goes for the other screen As far as as the top goes there is going to be these two buttons So if I click this button over here it immediately going
3:07
to go ahead and bring out the settings. So here it's backlit and if I want to go ahead and maneuver
3:11
through it, all I have to do is just cycle this left or right and it'll go ahead and move through it and go ahead and click into something, click into it and then I can go ahead and adjust the
3:18
brightness. So here it's at 100% and then over here it's going to be at 0%. And if I want to go
3:23
back, I can press this button and it'll bring me outside of the brightness back to the brightness
3:27
setting, back to the menu and then back out again. Overall attaching this wasn't too bad. I did go
3:34
ahead and need two hands of course and the hardest part was just putting it here and pulling it
3:39
together. So to make it easy, I used these two clips that it comes with so pulling it was a lot
3:44
easier like that. Right here you can see it's stretched out probably the max since this is a
3:49
16-inch MacBook Pro. There, now it's providing better support. So that's a quick look at the
3:54
OiWok triple screen monitor setup. But yeah, if you're looking to go ahead and just upgrade your
3:58
laptop experience, then yeah, definitely check this out
