The Design Secrets of the Valkyrie's Deadly Efficiency #sq58 #valkyrie The XQ-58 Valkyrie is a low-cost, attritable unmanned combat aerial vehicle designed to act as a loyal wingman to manned fighter jets. Developed by Kratos Defense for the United States Air Force under the Low-Cost Attritable Strike Demonstrator program, the Valkyrie boasts a stealthy design with a trapezoidal fuselage and a V-tail. With a maximum takeoff weight of 6,000 pounds, a top speed exceeding Mach 0.72, a range of 2,500 nautical miles, and an endurance of over 6 hours, the Valkyrie can carry a payload of up to 600 pounds. This payload can include weapons, sensors, or electronic warfare equipment. Controlled by a parent aircraft like an F-22 Raptor or F-35 Lightning II, the Valkyrie receives targeting data and other information or simply follows commands to fly a specific course or perform a particular task. #army #military #navy #usarmy #usmilitary #usnavy #ukraine #militarytraining #veterans #marines #marinecorps #navyseals #specialforces #airforce #usairforce
