ends of Sway in the Morning citizens are
0:03
Sway in the morning so
0:06
out of the 12 years we've been going to
0:09
Sway in the Morning Show yes 12. a lot
0:12
of y'all grew up watching this show
0:14
out of the 12 years of this way in the
0:16
morning show
0:18
I could probably count Tracy and I on
0:20
one hand the number of times Tracy and I
0:23
have been out together it doesn't happen
0:25
much it it it's it's a rare occasion
0:28
maybe twice that we've missed the show
0:33
so on Tuesday I believe suede decided
0:36
since Tracy G and I were out citizens to
0:39
have what he wants to call a lion's den
0:41
damn we starting with the hate
0:45
it
0:47
yeah we're starting off with the
0:49
children my grandmother would say tell
0:52
the truth and shame the devil yes I'm
0:54
just gonna tell the truth
0:55
so because Tracy and I were not here
0:58
suede decided to have all male guests
1:01
and an all-male Entourage and all men
1:04
behind the scenes and call the show that
1:07
day the Lion's Den and all this
1:10
testosterone and all this lying
1:13
l-y-i-n-g what's going on on the show DB
1:17
exactly who participated in it
1:19
exaggeration so now it is our
1:22
distinguished opportunity Tracy G and I
1:25
uh-huh
1:27
to bring some respect
1:30
maturity oh man
1:33
Talent
1:35
love wow and just the absolute truth to
1:40
the sway of the morning show via female
1:43
what dare I say the meow
1:53
[Laughter]
1:57
we got a girl here who is absolutely
2:01
phenomenal we have been rooting for her
2:03
we love her we've been watching her and
2:06
on that note Tracy G do the honors well
2:09
this ain't nothing new citizens every
2:12
single week you will hear me in the
2:14
studio being like y'all did you see
2:16
snowfall did you see snowfall
2:17
cinematography the freaking storyline
2:19
the acting what are we doing I am proud
2:21
to have been hanging off the nuts of
2:23
snowfall
2:27
seasons and we've had um dancing Idris
2:30
who plays Franklin exceptionally of
2:32
course she had a Min Joseph about a
2:34
month ago
2:36
um yeah
2:38
exactly exactly
2:40
yeah rest in power who is behind this
2:43
masterpiece but for today's meow pal
2:47
as Billy talk I'm so excited because the
2:51
character Wanda is so transformational
2:55
thank you and she's such a necessary
2:58
presence on snowfall and so we have such
3:01
an electric actress who plays Wanda
3:04
citizens welcome her to the show Gail
3:06
[ __ ]
3:10
[Music]
3:15
welcome to the show thank you we are so
3:18
happy what the [ __ ] was that
3:20
you're such a hater
3:23
I'll just adding some sound effects for
3:25
y'all
3:29
the lion continue
3:35
welcome to the show thank you so much
3:38
for being here and thank you for walking
3:40
in because this is the thing sometimes
3:42
y'all don't see off camera with such
3:45
beautiful and positive energy absolutely
3:47
thank you you came in just hugging and
3:49
with love and we appreciate that I love
3:52
y'all like I love I love New York let me
3:55
just say that I love New York like I'm
3:56
from Atlanta I'm from Stone Mountain
3:58
that's my my heart yeah I told somebody
4:00
last night I said Atlanta is my number
4:02
one but New York is my 1.1 wow I love
4:06
New York everything about y'all is just
4:08
amazing New York is your side man New
4:10
York is my New York is like my
4:13
not New York you're the throuple
4:18
because I'm New York
4:20
right there what made you fall in love
4:24
with New York because I can imagine
4:25
growing up you saw it through the lens
4:27
possibly of Maybe music videos and and
4:30
different and 106 and Park and all that
4:32
other kind of stuff so what made you
4:34
what was it about New York that
4:36
attracted you it just felt like
4:38
authentic it felt genuine and I loved
4:41
that you know so you hear the people say
4:43
oh everybody in New York is mean and New
4:45
York is rough I don't really see that
4:46
like I mean I feel like they're they're
4:49
straight up word like and if you can't
4:52
take it real then there's something
4:54
wrong with you
4:56
so then because
4:58
um snowfall takes place in La and we
5:00
know about your love for Atlanta we know
5:02
about your love for New York but what
5:03
was your relationship like with Los
5:05
Angeles and how did the show kind of
5:08
influence that so I lived in LA from
5:10
2013 to 2020. I moved back to Atlanta
5:13
during pandemic yeah I've always thought
5:15
La was a beautiful place like the
5:17
weather was beautiful the scenery is
5:19
very beautiful
5:21
there's opportunity there
5:24
it's not somewhere where I would want to
5:26
live or raise a family and shout out to
5:30
everybody who's who's done it and doing
5:32
it for real sis because it ain't for
5:34
everybody right I feel like La gave me
5:37
I'm grateful for it because it always
5:39
have given me what I wanted for my
5:41
career yeah like put me in a position to
5:43
win so I could gain work from anywhere
5:45
but it's just not somewhere where I
5:47
wanted to stay I didn't feel um and then
5:49
a lot of people who are real laters tell
5:51
me the people that I've interacted with
5:53
or encountered weren't from LA but I
5:55
don't know that because you know people
5:57
move places for school or they've been
5:59
there for 20 years and they're like no
6:00
I'm from here now it's right but you're
6:02
not that's not who raised you and that's
6:05
not your Core Essence when you get in
6:06
tight positions or you're at a struggle
6:08
or something who you are really comes
6:11
out so
6:13
um I just encountered a lot of people in
6:14
New York I mean in la that weren't I
6:17
didn't like their energy got you it
6:20
gives opportunist it gives when you meet
6:22
people it's well what do you do right
6:24
yeah yeah you know why you help me how
6:27
can you help me why are you
6:31
you pass somebody you speak if we're in
6:34
I distance you speak yeah and if not
6:36
cool but that energy to me it was a turn
6:39
off but I stayed there stayed down and
6:41
did what I had to do but so I'm always
6:43
Gonna Love New York I mean La for what
6:46
it
6:47
did for me in terms of opportunity in
6:50
terms of opportunity like I said I'm
6:52
always gonna love the scenery the
6:54
weather it's been raining lately so I
6:55
ain't really a fan of that right but um
6:58
but it's definitely it has its every
7:00
place has its pros and cons yeah so I
7:02
I'm grateful for it it's just not on the
7:05
list above New York the late great John
7:07
Singleton was mentioned me too um the
7:09
late great John Singleton was mentioned
7:11
in the intro here and um I I wonder you
7:15
know what would have been I think we all
7:17
do but for while he was here and um what
7:20
was your audition process like what for
7:22
snowfall did you have to audition in
7:25
front of John
7:26
um were you nervous because you
7:28
mentioned about you not ever being
7:30
nervous for anything until you was about
7:31
to walk in here
7:33
um what what was that whole process like
7:35
so
7:37
what I've been snow John Singleton has
7:40
been on my radar forever like anybody
7:43
who's around who has eyes know his
7:46
greatness right absolutely always wanted
7:48
to work with him he came to my acting
7:49
class in Atlanta in 2012. what yeah my
7:53
teacher Elena Abner is like that was her
7:55
Sensei so yeah so she was teaching us
8:00
and he came he surprised he talked to
8:01
the students sat down with us the entire
8:03
class so when I got to LA
8:06
in 2013 of course you know she was so
8:09
grateful to allow us to to reach out to
8:12
him on our behalf and I was able to go
8:14
to his classic because he taught a class
8:15
still at USC wow he taught one class I
8:18
was able to go sit in for free he would
8:20
say anytime we want it we could come and
8:23
then when I heard about snowfall it was
8:25
about 2015. I reached out to my reps was
8:27
like hey John Singleton has a new show
8:30
coming out snowfall can you please see
8:31
if there are any roles in it for me that
8:33
I can audition for they were like oh
8:35
it's already cast and the parts are too
8:38
small or too old for you and so there's
8:41
nothing so then when it was getting
8:42
recast I reached out again it was like
8:45
hey it's getting recast now so can we
8:47
see if there's anything I could go in
8:49
for they were like it's not the time
8:51
like it's not there's nothing for you on
8:53
this wow
8:56
and 20 fast forward to 2017. I was
9:01
flying out to Chicago I used to never
9:03
leave LA because I would say okay I
9:04
don't want to miss my opportunity yeah
9:05
wouldn't let my phone die wouldn't leave
9:07
so I flew to Chicago to shoot a web
9:10
series with my friend Leo Gilbert his
9:13
dad is Peter Gilbert he produced like
9:14
hoop dreams he produced my first film
9:16
that went to the film festivals
9:18
unexpected so like wow fire Leo is a
9:22
director he said you know can you get on
9:25
this web series I shoot out to Chicago
9:27
the moment I land in my inbox is a
9:32
audition notice to come in for so of
9:35
course of course
9:38
oh my gosh gosh so what'd you do I asked
9:41
my reps I was like I never asked them to
9:43
move I was like could we please
9:44
reschedule this audition they hit me
9:47
back and was like yeah the casting
9:48
directors was like no but they'll take a
9:50
tape because I said I'll be back
9:51
December 11th I capped and was like I
9:54
left town for my birthday
9:55
I'm dying yeah self-care yeah they were
9:59
like
10:00
um well casting said no but they'll take
10:02
a self tape Okay so
10:05
the cinematographer at the time said he
10:07
would put me on tape but it was a super
10:09
long day at the end of the day he was
10:11
like can we do it tomorrow I was like
10:12
nah I'm ready it's due like we I got to
10:14
do it tonight so Leo was like no worries
10:16
I'll use his camera and tape you my cast
10:18
member read with me we sent the tape
10:21
they hit back like the very next day it
10:23
was like casting loved you they wanted
10:25
to know if you'll still be back December
10:26
11th
10:28
I was like yes
10:31
fast forward okay we go back December
10:34
11th I have a chemistry test so
10:36
chemistry test is like when you're in
10:37
the room with someone who's already on
10:38
the show right and now you're
10:40
auditioning they're trying to see what
10:41
the chemistry is and
10:43
when I walked in that room
10:45
there was like 13 people John Singleton
10:48
was one of them Dub C I think might have
10:50
been one of them 13 people
10:52
there to see the audition space
10:56
the space we had to work with was
10:57
probably from the end of that table to
10:58
that table like no space to work with
11:01
but I was like all right we here goes
11:03
nothing we gotta do it
11:04
wow how was your nerves like how how I
11:07
was in Memphis I look I assessed the
11:10
room I assess the situation and I'm like
11:11
okay cool all right so I can't go too
11:14
far but they not here like it's either
11:17
barbecue or mildew at this point like
11:19
you're gonna get the roller Yang oh you
11:21
ain't what you want to do because you've
11:22
been asking about this right now for
11:25
years
11:26
all I heard you say was 2013. come on
11:29
and then you fast it takes years and it
11:32
takes time in the right moment we were
11:34
talking about God in alignment and
11:36
everything this morning and the people
11:38
and just because they on your team don't
11:40
necessarily mean they on your side and
11:42
trying to bring everybody with you and
11:44
all these different things and that role
11:46
that four-year road that you had just to
11:48
get to that that space you know what I
11:51
mean it was just so ordained and
11:53
destined for you and you are crushing it
11:56
Gail Bean is here from snowfall if you
11:58
want to talk to her
12:00
888-742-3345 we're coming back with a
12:02
listen man this is beautiful Gail Bean
12:06
is here from snowfall
12:08
series finale airing Wednesday April
12:11
19th if you want to talk to us six
12:13
seasons ain't that crazy God bless you
12:15
man that's wow God is good man extend
12:19
that Applause six seasons is Big it's
12:21
big he's talking about that work you got
12:24
to put in
12:25
you got it you gotta put in that work
12:27
I also want to remind people about
12:29
taking classes is something that I talk
12:31
about a lot here Tracy G can attest to
12:33
that you know it's one thing to take
12:36
classes to be dope and develop your
12:39
craft and all of that and to learn from
12:40
people who can teach you who's willing
12:42
to teach and share but also you make
12:45
connections in classes you you you you
12:47
find yourself a lot of times in classes
12:50
you challenge yourself in classes it is
12:53
really supposed to be a safe space and
12:56
just think like you took this class and
12:59
lo and behold the John Singleton walks
13:01
in yeah you know what I mean and and God
13:03
saw four years later five years later
13:06
down the line you guys would be working
13:08
together you know you just got up that
13:10
day to go to class that's a good point
13:12
because you wouldn't expect that level
13:13
of opportunity to arrive in class class
13:16
so some people are really impatient in
13:18
class because they're like I need to get
13:20
on the outside of this because that's
13:22
where John Singleton is not knowing that
13:24
the work that you're doing in the class
13:25
right is what's going to give you the
13:28
success for when you're outside of the
13:29
class you're gonna reach back to yeah
13:32
the biggest mistake people can make
13:34
sometimes is sitting in classrooms
13:36
believing that they know everything
13:37
already closing themselves up not
13:40
willing to learn all that teacher don't
13:42
know nothing that professional you may
13:44
not even be there for that teacher or
13:45
Professor you don't know what's being
13:47
aligned for you just by showing up every
13:50
day right that's the thing you don't
13:52
know who's coming through as a guest
13:54
speaker that day as someone just to sit
13:56
in the back and watch I used to ask my
13:58
agent all the time where you going and
14:00
she used to go to different things and
14:03
just sit in the back and watch she found
14:04
a lot of people they didn't know they
14:07
didn't know she was sitting in there you
14:09
know you never know you never know who's
14:10
watching but know that somebody is
14:12
always watching you got to be on your A
14:14
game you got to be on your A game at all
14:16
times cause Sean is on the line she
14:18
wants to talk to you Gail B how you
14:20
doing Cassandra hey Cass I'm doing good
14:23
how are you doing doing great how's your
14:25
day today
14:27
doing great going great good good good
14:29
what's your question for Gail
14:31
so I have my question for you is I have
14:35
the same last name as you
14:37
and it has been hell growing up with
14:42
that last name and I just want to know
14:44
how you handled everything
14:46
okay I hate to disappoint you sis
14:50
I love you Gail B right and now you can
14:54
tell people you know what I'm saying now
14:55
you could lean into your last name but
14:57
my legal last name is Mitchell
15:00
being is something honestly that was
15:03
something that some friends in college
15:04
gave me and we took it and ran with it
15:07
and I changed no not many people know
15:09
that Mitchell isn't my last name I mean
15:12
Mitchell is my last name and I hashtag
15:13
Mitchells are born winners my production
15:15
companies Mitchells are born winners I
15:17
went for being because my dad is the
15:19
coach in the NFL I didn't want to kind
15:21
of like be under his shadow
15:22
um and but yeah being with something my
15:26
friends they loved it they was like pass
15:27
me that be everything was being so when
15:29
I came around it was like Gail B and
15:31
then they said change your name on
15:32
Facebook you know how social media goes
15:33
yeah if it's on social it's real
15:36
I'm so sorry
15:41
yes
15:54
what team did your dad coach with he
15:57
currently coaches for Cleveland Browns
15:59
really wow stop Mitchell running back
16:01
coach
16:02
great man shout out to Pops yeah for
16:05
sure for sure for sure that's amazing
16:07
y'all greatness run in the family let's
16:09
go and you on the line say what's up to
16:11
Gail
16:13
good morning good morning hey hey good
16:15
morning you better get this energy
16:17
together calling up here sounding like
16:18
your dog is tied up outside and dying
16:21
what you doing
16:23
don't be mad
16:27
good morning everybody good morning
16:30
reset
16:32
what up
16:34
surprises to speak to you it's an honor
16:35
to speak to you on the huge screen of
16:37
your work um my question is what was
16:40
your rough experience during the filming
16:42
of snowfall and what was your most
16:44
favorite experience during the filming
16:46
process it's a pleasure to hear from you
16:48
and my roughest experience filming
16:50
snowfall
16:52
honestly was trying to figure out who
16:54
Wanda was gonna be once she's recovered
16:58
like who this new person is after crack
17:00
right and I think that's something that
17:03
the black community deals we're still
17:04
trying to figure out who we are and find
17:06
ourselves and get get our bearings post
17:08
the crack epidemic still even in 2023 so
17:11
that for me was the roughest thing to
17:12
try to recreate this character without
17:14
recreating her but knowing that some of
17:16
her foundation was already destroyed
17:18
from crack but still having Essences to
17:21
where people aren't like who that we
17:22
don't even know this new girl
17:24
um my most favorite experience I ain't
17:27
gonna lie
17:28
this I didn't even film this day it was
17:30
Isaiah's birthday that was this year
17:31
season six but I got two because I got I
17:33
got with John too yes um filming this
17:37
season Isaiah's birthday everybody was
17:39
just on set like having a good time
17:42
party and celebrating him I'm not gonna
17:43
lie we was drinking I didn't have no
17:44
scenes that day Eamon was like
17:47
like Uncle Jerome
17:48
RP
17:50
Jerome amen was like I just gotta die so
17:52
I ain't got no life
17:56
Isaiah plays Leon shout out to him he's
17:59
a real one and dancing he really had the
18:01
carry the weight that day yeah but we
18:03
was up there partying having a good time
18:05
we had our people who was there from
18:06
like last show like joesha she was with
18:09
us when she got out John gave her a job
18:11
she's now over there all American but
18:14
she came through like everybody was just
18:15
coming through celebrating Isaiah
18:17
pulling up having a good time we had the
18:19
music blasting that was probably one of
18:22
my most funnest times and then one of my
18:24
most funnest times with John is just
18:26
sitting and
18:28
I remember it was when
18:30
um we were in the Cookhouse and I was
18:31
now with man boy them crew so with
18:33
Melvin Gregg and everybody Calvin and
18:38
I was we were trying to figure out
18:40
whether or not the director wanted me to
18:42
call Franklin
18:44
Franklin Saint when I'm so used to
18:47
calling him you know Franklin like
18:50
people who don't I mean people who don't
18:52
know him may call him like Saint and
18:54
stuff right but I'm so people who is
18:55
this in their family causing Franklin
18:56
it's like even if you fall out with your
18:58
family you're not gonna change their
19:00
name so I was trying to tell the
19:02
director that and me and John was on the
19:04
same page and but that wasn't John's
19:06
episode like he's a Creator but he
19:08
wasn't directing but he would still come
19:10
on set every day and just like kicking
19:12
it with him and him having my back on
19:13
that I was like you know what I'm gonna
19:15
get this man what he want I'm gonna give
19:16
him a take what he wants cause I always
19:18
give people what they asked for but all
19:19
the rest of the episodes I'ma say Saint
19:22
because that's what we call them I mean
19:24
I'm gonna say Franklin because that's
19:25
what the family call them it's like the
19:27
family may call you by your government
19:28
other than other people don't they don't
19:29
know you like that so that was a really
19:31
good day because I sat down with John
19:33
and talked about like my character he
19:36
was telling me about him and Taraji they
19:39
were going to do a teal project like we
19:40
just talked about so much and you sit
19:43
with John you see how excited he is and
19:46
how you like still a kid in a candy
19:47
store with this it's nice to see people
19:49
who've been doing it for centuries still
19:51
have that excitement yeah so that was my
19:53
favorite day beautiful man thank you so
19:55
much for your call we appreciate you all
19:58
right
19:59
thank you welcome back Tracy it's good
20:01
to hear you oh I appreciate it he parked
20:04
up man all right good for you look
20:05
g-man's on the line calling in for
20:10
him
20:12
what's your question for Gail you got
20:14
that good energy
20:16
okay well the first thing I got to say
20:17
is the show is off from everybody's
20:20
awesome
20:22
because the season finale uh world
20:24
series finale
20:25
um I'm a recovering drug addict myself
20:27
and I just celebrated 30 years clean
20:30
right
20:31
[Applause]
20:38
God bless
20:39
so what I gotta say is Gail she played
20:44
the [ __ ] out of this part as a drug
20:45
addict my question is how the hell did
20:49
you do so good and did you do research
20:52
on this thing or what because you played
20:54
it to the T girl gee thank you so much
20:56
congratulations on your recovery I thank
20:59
you I'm black I got family that
21:01
unfortunately we're victims of the crack
21:04
epidemic and just drugs in general so I
21:08
pulled from my family but I also I
21:09
research everything I looked at J is for
21:11
junkie it's a green my Park documentary
21:13
I looked at soft white underbelly and
21:15
then I volunteer on Wednesdays at Skid
21:17
Row in LA but also I ask questions so
21:20
like shout out to DeRay at one point he
21:23
gave me a nugget that was in one of my
21:24
scenes he was like nah you know my mama
21:26
used to be on drugs like so it's certain
21:29
things that she do you know she hit it
21:31
and then it's like she'd be hearing a
21:32
song or like so I listen to people as
21:35
well I take take what it is and I say
21:38
you know I keep what works and I thought
21:39
don't yeah but I definitely did my
21:41
research but thank you so much man I
21:43
appreciate it you were fun you were
21:46
phenomenal man and uh do you have any
21:49
other projects coming up I'm gonna be
21:50
Valley yes she is oh you are I am I am
21:54
okay I gotta go check I gotta go I gotta
21:57
go check it out you better shout out
21:58
Patrick again poking all of them over
22:00
there yeah
22:04
Randy Evans all of them Jay fawns
22:07
amazing people yeah I'm gonna be Valiant
22:09
we start filming this summer we'll be
22:11
back season three 2024 so and then you
22:15
know you never know
22:17
what's happening
22:19
that part yeah I might have a little
22:23
spin-off coming on you know snowfall was
22:26
La in the 80s right the spin-off would
22:28
be La in the 90s and the 90s is my bag
22:30
so yes stick around I'm gonna have a
22:34
blessed day YouTube family Tracy G yeah
22:38
well DB actually took a question that
22:40
was up top but I had another one going
22:41
that pertained to Wanda because I
22:44
believe that there are some folks who
22:46
have addictions but everyone has to deal
22:48
with attachments and at some point you
22:51
have to let go so care to share an
22:54
attachment that you had to let go of
22:55
that maybe was difficult but you realize
22:58
how much good was on the other side so I
23:01
used to say I have two vices right boys
23:03
and alcohol
23:04
listen relatable listen I've been
23:07
through my fair share dope album title
23:09
though yeah
23:14
I've been through my fair share of
23:16
things and at one point in time I never
23:20
said I was alcoholic but I loved liquor
23:22
right and
23:24
when I didn't drink I could smell it I
23:27
could know what you had in your you
23:28
could walk in the room you could have
23:30
drunk and I could smell it out your
23:31
pores when I wasn't drinking right and
23:34
it's like even like right now I'm not
23:36
drinking because when I asked God and
23:38
ancestors for things I try to come with
23:40
bearing gifts yeah so I was like okay
23:42
I'm not gonna drink until we hear the
23:44
word on this spin-off and somebody was
23:46
like you know that could take two years
23:47
I was like I'm a I'm asking for
23:49
something you know so right now I'm not
23:52
drinking my girl yo you you so I guess
23:54
did you listen to the show this morning
23:56
before you got here nah
24:00
so I'm asking for something right so
24:03
last night it was all drinking while we
24:05
was watching the show and I was like
24:06
damn that [ __ ] smells so good I check in
24:09
my hotel they're like so yeah these are
24:10
two drink chips and then you also get 25
24:12
a day credit at the bar for just staying
24:15
here and I'm like really God I've I've
24:17
been gifted so much alcohol right now I
24:19
ain't touched it so for me it's just
24:23
about like doing what I have to do to
24:27
for the ask
24:29
um
24:32
the other Vice guys
24:35
um
24:36
yeah
24:38
I mean I like boys I like I like men so
24:41
and I ain't like No Hoe like them but
24:43
it's like I be falling in love and [ __ ]
24:45
like I'm a hopeless romantic you're hard
24:47
on your sleeves like this is my first
24:48
time ever to do we moved in within a
24:51
month really but it's I'm I'm on I'm
24:53
going on year three come on
24:56
[Applause]
24:57
you make it at work and I'm I think I'm
25:00
the wife
25:01
I believe I believe I'm the wife
25:04
yeah speaking into existence listen I
25:07
hope your daddy not listening we got Dr
25:09
G on the line cause he got a story about
25:11
your daddy Dr G
25:14
what's up good morning good morning
25:20
hey hey I wanted to just say how much I
25:23
appreciate the legacy of uh Mr stump
25:25
Mitchell thank you I was a young man
25:29
Edwardsville Illinois at this time the
25:32
St Louis uh Cardinals I believe at that
25:34
time uh your father's family lived in
25:37
what we call Ginger close to
25:38
Edwardsville when he moved out he had a
25:41
lot of goods and food and our family
25:43
very poor at the time was a recipient of
25:47
that food and those goods wow and so I
25:50
appreciate that memory and I appreciate
25:54
you being willing to be vulnerable and
25:57
say your real name
25:59
but I want to let you know that because
26:02
of things like that our family has been
26:06
able to thrive I'm a lawyer an educator
26:09
now and I just want to tell you how much
26:12
I appreciate you I appreciate his legacy
26:15
and I appreciate the vibe in the spirit
26:17
of your family it meant a lot to us when
26:19
we were young men and now we are all the
26:22
seven of us utterly mobile working young
26:24
men so I just wanted to let you know
26:27
Dennis thank you so much I love my
26:29
parents yes man that's why I'm very
26:32
vocal about it now you know growing up
26:34
black we think like don't accept help or
26:37
you know make it on your own or the
26:39
Merit or your work but now I'm like nah
26:40
we Each one teach one you know I'm
26:43
saying like we're a village like help
26:44
each other so now that's why I'm very
26:46
like nah that's my daddy and if you give
26:48
me anything cool but if not that man's a
26:50
great man and I love him yeah like he's
26:52
the only person I I've known a man that
26:54
loved me my whole life you know what I'm
26:55
saying but that makes me happy to hear
26:57
that story that's so beautiful
26:58
congratulations to you and all your
27:00
family all seven of y'all that's crazy
27:02
many blessings Dr G God is good and
27:05
thank you for calling and blessing us
27:07
you're a citizen DB you wanted to jump
27:09
in yeah before we leave here today I
27:11
need uh your input on an important topic
27:13
that we were discussing before you came
27:15
in here okay
27:16
yeah when the weather changes to Summer
27:18
and it gets warmer and everybody's
27:20
breaking out the cool outfits in Atlanta
27:22
what is the song that signifies that
27:24
change in weather that you really got to
27:26
step outside oh in Atlanta changing
27:30

27:31

27:33
that's Springtime Anthem like that see
27:35
