I don't even know how to talk to him no
0:02
more Try It Out Try It
0:05
Out I I I don't know you
0:09
know hungry for
0:11
Success it's take them way back then
0:15
that's when we first start at least when
0:16
I first start catching wind on him cuz I
0:19
was living in the area he was living and
0:22
a lot of young men were coming up to me
0:24
telling me they spit bars you know and
0:27
me wanting to help them all I knew they
0:28
only 90 Maybe out of maybe 99% of them
0:32
will whack damn that high percentage
0:36
just real out it is so real and I'm in
0:40
Harlem I'm like living in Harlem at this
0:43
time for yeah and I'm bringing dudes up
0:45
on the show and they fumbling and then
0:48
but you know and I'll go back to the
0:50
hood and I can't hear them no more I
0:51
don't even hear the excuses no
0:54
more Yep on
0:56
mute but then there was one guy that
1:00
came out of that that Harlem Knights
1:02
mixtape was something to be admired
1:04
ladies and gentlemen um that that Gift
1:07
of Gab was something you had to really
1:09
respect was that Juju joint was
1:12
something you really had to respect and
1:14
I start noticing that this guy just
1:16
consistently is the type of MC that we
1:20
love the pain that come out of his
1:23
lyrics are based on his life when he's
1:25
come up here before he told us who he
1:28
had to be as a Young Man assuming
1:30
responsibility making sure that his
1:32
family was okay um he spoke on these
1:35
things I would see him just working hard
1:37
making content shooting videos right on
1:40
the side block of my house where these
1:44
dudes were making all this damn noise
1:46
and I come downstairs and I see it's him
1:48
shooting a video I try to get in a shot
1:52
of course you did I about to say you had
1:54
a
1:55
cameo I'm always trying to get a cameo
1:58
but most recently um we met up and we
2:01
wanted to celebrate his new release of
2:04
his album called 30 Linux a and I
2:07
believe um I took my brother chance with
2:10
me Cy from Chica and Cy and my man Kenny
2:14
coou U they over there at creative
2:16
control they do a lot of movies they got
2:19
you know Emy they got emys they do all
2:21
sorts of stuff I said I want y' to come
2:24
downtown with me and I want you to meet
2:26
this dude and he's somebody you should
2:28
pay attention to
2:30
citizens this is probably one of the
2:32
most authentic lyric uh Lyricist artists
2:35
that you're going to meet it's from the
2:37
grime is gritty I appreciate his virtue
2:40
he's a very patient man we know he has
2:42
the affiliation with jiss he's the type
2:45
of artist that doesn't just ride that
2:47
and try to get indoors because he's next
2:49
to Jus in fact he doesn't have to
2:51
because his skill set is of that nature
2:54
he's here today to celebrate this album
2:56
I know we going to get are we going to
2:57
get some bars today I'm asking up front
2:59
now please [ __ ] that's a lot of uhoh
3:01
uhoh uhoh I can see down he didn't say
3:04
yeah oh you know I'm you know I do you
3:08
feel me oh okay I thought that was
3:10
it you know how I give it up man I ain't
3:13
going one for first and foremost I
3:16
appreciate I appreciate you o like I
3:18
appreciate your platform appreciate you
3:20
for having me you feel me like in my
3:22
world took me a minute to get up here
3:24
like I said you was living where I grew
3:26
up at you know what I mean like I was
3:28
out there trapping and all you feel me
3:30
they used play your sway sway sway live
3:33
right there man I'm telling you so I
3:34
used to wait and I used to see you I
3:36
used to like damn sometime you get in
3:38
the building so fast I'm like damn damn
3:40
I missed him you feel me so I used to
3:42
have to really I was like I'm standing
3:43
on this side right now so when I see him
3:45
I'm about to run without looking like
3:47
I'm trying to do something you feel me
3:48
like caught you coming outside you I
3:51
think you came out a cab or something
3:52
like that about to walk in the bill to
3:54
caught you while you was opening the
3:55
door yo yo I got this I got the CD man
3:58
yo I need you to check it check
4:00
you know what I mean like I had work on
4:02
me you had work on you that day I had
4:05
work I can say this now you feel me like
4:07
from from when I grew up from when I
4:09
first started trapping I always had work
4:11
on me like that was like that's a thing
4:13
like when you outside outside you feel
4:14
me like you always got work on you
4:17
because that's what you do you know what
4:18
I mean like it's not like you got to
4:20
clock in all right today I'm for a few
4:22
hours then n you got work 247 your phone
4:26
ringing so you could be doing anything I
4:28
used to do videos phone ringing yo I
4:30
need eight yo hold on real quick make a
4:32
sale come back and get back to my video
4:35
like you got to be kidding me man really
4:37
that's real life like real [ __ ] like
4:39
word you would stop down the video to
4:41
get off that a everything like well I
4:44
used to that's how I used to be like
4:45
they call if they needed one I hold on
4:47
hold on bro I see you like 20 minutes
4:49
you know what I mean like what like
4:51
eight yo yo hold on deod wait I go got
4:54
to go pick that sell real quick multi I
4:57
didn't know that's a 24 I never saw
5:00
uh
5:04
work so crazy coming out your mouth that
5:07
did I was like well what am about to say
5:08
right now but uh I never saw work but so
5:11
you don't sleep that's why dudes 24/7
5:14
you have yeah I mean you sleep but if
5:16
you get that phone call you wake look I
5:20
done been I could curse on here right
5:22
yeah all right no disrespect I done been
5:24
in some [ __ ] before uhuh and the fiend
5:27
called me while I was hitting and I'm
5:29
like oh [ __ ] they always want 10 and
5:32
more so I was like hold on oh
5:37
my man came back and she was still
5:41
arched over I jump right back in I could
5:44
drop dead if I like I'm telling
5:49
you when you really like you feel me
5:52
like when you
5:53
really you was in it in a different way
5:55
we also got to say that hold upy hold up
5:58
man Who let that pass but we got to know
6:02
who's talking wait wait wait wait Nino
6:04
man is here my bad n man is here you're
6:07
right especially with that type of thank
6:09
you man no man I just don't want you to
6:12
think it's
6:13
me yo she stayed Arch stay Arch well the
6:17
sell only took probably like cuz I was
6:19
quick I knew I was in there you feel me
6:21
so it didn't take more than a minute cuz
6:22
they came inside my build and made me on
6:23
the third floor I ran downstairs I just
6:26
put my basketball shorts on try to not
6:28
to you feel me like yo the side here
6:30
take that I ran back upstairs she was
6:32
still there I still had the condom on
6:34
just Dive Right Back In you still had
6:35
the condom on dog you a n literally it
6:40
was literally like on something like I'm
6:42
hitting and the phone was ringing I took
6:44
a peek and it was one of the people that
6:45
buy like 10 and more so I was like oh
6:47
[ __ ] hold on I can't miss that jumped
6:51
out what's that to running did you put
6:54
shorts on yeah my fault I jumped up
6:56
shorts right there ready cuz I just took
6:58
them off you put them slit them up it
7:01
was some baggy ass shorts to so I went
7:03
down tried to I mean third floor ran
7:05
back up put the [ __ ] back in the drawer
7:07
and I dive right back in she was still
7:09
Arch she didn't go nowhere I said yo
7:10
hold on she was still Arch I swear to
7:12
everything I could drop dead right now
7:14
if I'm lying no no no no you ain't got
7:17
to put all that on it n
7:18
cuz I want y know this [ __ ] real
7:21
sometimes be free this ain't you feel me
7:23
that girl deserves a feature
7:29
put her in a no but that's just a
7:31
testament to the Grind yeah so how how
7:34
did those scales transfer over to to the
7:37
music business all right so look I was
7:40
doing that and then when I started
7:41
rapping I started like using all my
7:43
money to go to go to the studio I was
7:45
dying for a studio found a studio like
7:48
in Brooklyn from one of my guys Conrad
7:52
um one of my brother guys and all that
7:53
you know what I mean so he was like yo I
7:55
got a Studio D 20 an hour I said all
7:58
right bet I can [ __ ] with that you know
7:59
what I mean so I started every time I
8:01
trap I used to go down there every
8:03
Friday and um book like six six hours
8:06
and all that [ __ ] lock in right back to
8:09
the block like little DVDs or one of
8:11
those shows they tell you you got to pay
8:13
150 then you sell your tickets and all
8:15
that I've been through that I've been
8:17
through every beginning grind like but I
8:19
paid for everything from the beginning
8:20
the block paid for yeah but but I put it
8:24
at work you feel okay we know that's
8:27
right you don't leave no work left
8:29
obviously Gund
8:33
page no pun intending when I said Left
8:36
Behind going Tracy thanks for
8:39
hearing no this is this is just this is
8:42
just really interesting what did you
8:44
ever how often were you in danger I mean
8:47
and on the Block I feel like like you
8:50
always in danger you got to just like
8:53
like be easy you know what I mean like I
8:55
used to have like certain problems back
8:57
then and [ __ ] used to be doing like DV
8:59
s and [ __ ] and some [ __ ] transpired
9:01
yesterday transpired yesterday and
9:05
[ __ ] got the you know I mean [ __ ]
9:06
got their pistols and all that [ __ ] and
9:09
I used have to tell a camera like yo we
9:10
got to go down the block because I ain't
9:12
cuz [ __ ] spin over here you end up
9:14
getting caught up with some [ __ ] that's
9:15
going to be a bad look you know I mean
9:16
so you to be real like it's just you got
9:19
to be on point this Harlem this wild
9:21
wild west like you know I mean so
9:23
everybody go through their ups and downs
9:25
left and rights you got to just be on
9:26
point out there cuz it could happen like
9:28
that did all this play take place at 30
9:31
Linux half yeah like that's my bill
9:33
that's on 12 for Linux I on every block
9:36
from like 116th to one 11th you know
9:38
what I mean like I [ __ ] with everybody
9:40
and all that you know I mean but um yeah
9:43
12th Linux 11th and 5th so to give you
9:46
an idea um 12th and I lived on 12th and
9:50
5th yeah right um and he lived on 12th
9:53
and Linux that's just that's the same
9:55
block we lived on the same block no I
9:58
lived on Fifth
10:00
he lived on Linux MH it could be a
10:02
dichotomy in that alone absolutely but
10:04
these Linux dudes start leaking over the
10:07
fifth and it had it all dangerous for us
10:10
and now I know who who was at the center
10:12
of it right here that's why you
10:14
move yo that whole [ __ ] was dangerous
10:17
though like it was already just cuz
10:19
people used be like yo why you trapping
10:21
on 50 you from Linux [ __ ] shut up man
10:24
shut up man like I was [ __ ] with my
10:26
one of my big Bros and all like like
10:27
know mean that was his side linked up
10:29
with him I mean I started young young
10:31
you know I mean so I was like when I
10:33
started trapping I was like I never had
10:35
a job before you feel me like so and I
10:38
don't mean that I ain't saying that to
10:39
brag I'm saying that to count my
10:40
blessings I never had a job so when it
10:43
it went straight illegal so um music was
10:46
the first legal money I ever got really
10:48
yeah I never ever clocked in never had a
10:50
job none of that [ __ ] like and that was
10:53
always the goal with music to get
10:55
yourself legal or before you even ever
10:57
got into the studio did you know that
10:59
you had to get out of the street life
11:02
see when you when you in it you don't
11:05
really think you got to get out if that
11:06
makes sense you hear people saying it
11:09
but when you in it you don't feel that
11:10
[ __ ] you know what I mean so it's like
11:11
you just this is what you used to this
11:13
is my life you know what I mean then
11:15
when you step out like now that I be out
11:17
the way and all that now so now I'll be
11:19
like damn [ __ ] really live a crazy
11:22
life like don't funny [ __ ] like you
11:24
think back like know I mean it's a lot
11:27
of people that don't make it out that
11:28
[ __ ] you know what I mean like so it's
11:29
like I just be trying to like encourage
11:31
like people that's like me I tell them I
11:33
was hardheaded as well so you ain't
11:35
going to listen to what I'm trying to
11:36
tell you but I'm still going to tell you
11:37
so you know cuz everybody used to tell
11:38
me [ __ ] I thought I think about them now
11:40
and Sh like yeah I used to have some
11:41
people that used to be like bro you out
11:43
here whing bro chill you feel me like
11:45
like heard you cuz you ain't in my life
11:47
so you don't my Wilding is normal
11:49
lifestyle for us you know what I mean
11:51
like but it took it took a minute I mean
11:54
thank the Lord that I ain't Jam me up I
11:56
mean I I did jail time and [ __ ] for two
11:58
years you did 2 years that was your
11:59
longest F yeah two years felt like
12:02
20 did you write Rhymes in there bro I I
12:05
came back with books like I already I
12:06
was determined I I I like I was um cool
12:09
with my mom's new DJ Marley M God bless
12:12
you know what I mean oh man the
12:13
legendary Marley M the first person to
12:16
really maneuver them samples see big
12:18
facts facts I mean so shout out to Marly
12:21
M he's the first person that ever put me
12:22
on the radio I mean it was on on 2 in
12:25
the morning on P 105 was called future
12:27
flavors and all that and he used to rock
12:29
with me but then I got I got locked up
12:31
you know what I mean it did two years
12:33
and I was I was still in contact with
12:35
him I was calling him every six months
12:36
and [ __ ] he's like yo I come home I need
12:39
you I didn't want to lose that contact
12:41
I'm like when I come home I need you
12:42
he's like yo just keep writing keep
12:43
writing yeah I got you when I came home
12:45
he put me on the radio radio the same
12:47
week I went to Studio the day after when
12:49
I came home he put me on the studio that
12:51
same weekend so [ __ ] was like damn I
12:52
didn't even know you was home I heard
12:53
you on the radio like so big shout out
12:56
to Molly m Molly M was Pete with him too
12:57
with future flavors um um was just
12:59
Marley yeah it was just Marley at that
13:01
time I think I mean I'm not too sure cuz
13:04
my mom's just put me on like the
13:06
background Queens bridge that's my mom's
13:07
from show she said she grew up with him
13:09
and all that man Marley Maul the legend
13:12
Mike m jump in there man neither one I
13:14
just want to thank you for your
13:14
transparency um and how you're sharing
13:16
this story I think it's you're a young
13:19
man and you grew up in this digital
13:22
information age and I'm just listening
13:24
to your story and you said that you know
13:26
you were doing the work and the business
13:28
that you were doing doing did you feel
13:30
like that was the only choice and and
13:34
why like what was so compelling that you
13:37
want to continue doing it knowing the
13:39
danger versus going legal and and
13:41
getting a job or some type of ninet to-5
13:44
or a trade all right I wanted a summer
13:46
youth job but the way I was I always
13:48
needed like a certain shot or some [ __ ]
13:50
and I used been to my mom's I ain't
13:51
going to lie she used to be like I'mma
13:54
see and that I'mma see just a Sumer just
13:56
go by some go so I never had it cuz my
13:58
my friends had summer jobs I used to be
14:00
like damn I want my little check too you
14:02
know I mean get their sneakers I used to
14:04
know what I mean but to keep it a buck
14:06
like I was telling you like the
14:07
surroundings is is everything like you
14:09
know what I mean so it's like my
14:11
surroundings trapping was normal you
14:13
know what I mean so it might seem like a
14:15
bigger risk to somebody that really is
14:17
not around it and they like like oh you
14:19
whing but when you growing up in that
14:21
[ __ ] that [ __ ] is normal like I'm
14:23
telling you everybody that was around
14:25
like 95% of us grew up the same exact
14:28
way trapping we all got guns we all got
14:30
little smoke we all just trying to
14:32
figure it out some people like figure it
14:35
out we got different type of parents
14:37
like yo you GNA get this job I'mma link
14:38
you up you know what I mean so they
14:39
really hands on with it I never really
14:41
had that so my [ __ ] was just everything
14:43
came from outside I was trapping when I
14:44
was like what like 14 you know what I
14:47
mean so my first and I was trying to get
14:49
a fitted hat a hat for I was like for a
14:52
hat right my first first time I tra I
14:54
just wanted a hat and it started from
14:56
there I got a hat I started buying my
14:58
own Chinese F I'm talking about the very
15:00
beginning like I grew up a rough life so
15:03
to buy like my own [ __ ] like that I was
15:05
the man in my you what mean I'm like
15:07
[ __ ] like yo I gota wait for my mother
15:08
to cook I'm like I'm going to Chinese
15:13
restaurant wow you know what I mean so
15:15
in my world like I was wipped out so
15:18
like like like that [ __ ] really helped
15:20
me you know what I mean like like took a
15:23
minute to figure it out like I said I
15:25
only I started understand like you know
15:27
the risk but it's like every taking that
15:29
risk where I'm from you know what I mean
15:31
like so it's like all right I'mma go
15:33
toil he my man just went to jail oh this
15:35
[ __ ] just came home D so it's like real
15:37
normal for us so when you get a little
15:39
older and mature you really get a chance
15:41
to really be like what was the moment
15:42
where you said no
15:44
more um trying to think if I even ever
15:48
said no more I just think it's slowed
15:50
down like like cuz I I started like
15:52
I'mma I can't really say certain [ __ ]
15:55
but I'mma say this I got in I got in a
15:58
field you know mean like I started like
15:59
dealing with different [ __ ] you know
16:00
what I mean like not using but providing
16:03
and [ __ ] like that and I can't get into
16:05
too much details so that it went from
16:07
the trap then it went from to that you
16:09
know what I mean cuz the Trap kind of
16:10
slowed down it wasn't the same no more
16:13
so the scam and [ __ ] took over you feel
16:14
I me like so it was like you just just
16:18
yeah switched up started like getting
16:21
more you know what I mean getting crazy
16:24
say too much yeah yeah I don't want to
16:25
go crazy you know you know yeah yeah
16:27
yeah but so when I started [ __ ]
16:29
around and [ __ ] you know I mean then
16:31
after a while um I'm going be honest
16:34
right I meant I want to go make a
16:36
move and the person I was dealing with I
16:39
didn't know personally you know I mean
16:40
but somebody linked me with the person
16:43
and at this time I had the song with
16:45
French
16:46
Montana I'm on already you know what I
16:48
mean and it was like and I wanted to go
16:50
make the the situation and then right
16:52
after I made the situation he was like
16:53
yo let me ask you a question I said
16:55
what's good they said you n no man I was
16:58
like oh [ __ ] [ __ ] starting to know who
17:00
I am now so I'm like yeah they like yo
17:02
that's what's up I didn't know you was
17:04
[ __ ] around I'm like and I was like
17:06
oh that's my last one so I started like
17:08
like plugging my mans in and [ __ ] like
17:10
that and they started like like handling
17:12
that [ __ ] I'm like yo [ __ ] recognizing
17:13
me can't I was like nah so that there
17:18
you go that's when I really like Slow
17:20
Down slow down I mean like when they
17:21
recognized yeah so I was like I can't I
17:24
mean like cops was playing my videos in
17:26
the lobby and [ __ ] like that on the
17:28
phone
17:29
real [ __ ] like act like they was fans I
17:31
didn't to grab me up like like oh [ __ ]
17:32
with this but I felt like it was being
17:34
funny so I was like oh yeah let me step
17:36
out this [ __ ] cuz I got a whole career
17:37
so I just fell back from that [ __ ] yeah
17:39
you was about to be the but of all
17:41
jokes than for sharing man that's
17:44
amazing man yo you Nino man you just
17:46
shorted me
17:48
man of
17:50
power hell going Nino man shorted me man
17:53
you know they going to throw your name
17:55
in any and everything you ain't had
17:56
nothing to do with it yeah and I was to
17:59
man and so when you go into this project
18:02
30 Linux all these um amazing stories
18:06
that he's telling about his life you
18:08
start hearing songs like I need
18:11
answers I need answers is probably one
18:13
of the most original perspectives I've
18:16
heard on a song in a long time talk
18:18
about I need answers and um I need
18:21
answers came from a place cuz I feel
18:23
like like a lot of fathers go through
18:25
that you know what I mean like like the
18:26
system I feel like sometimes could be
18:29
fair then it could be unfair you know
18:30
what I mean like so I wanted to paint a
18:32
picture cuz every a lot of people go
18:33
through that I wanted to paint a picture
18:36
about a guy that always took care of his
18:37
family and then soon as something went
18:39
wrong with him cheating not nothing with
18:41
him I mean it's [ __ ] up they cheated
18:44
but this don't got nothing to do with
18:45
how he rais his kids he always on point
18:48
when it come to him raising his family I
18:49
mean having his family you know what I
18:52
mean so when that went wrong she just
18:55
put him on child support and that's the
18:58
part that instead of
18:59
saying that it was wrong I wanted to see
19:01
what people thought and when I was at my
19:03
um my media playback I couldn't even get
19:06
to the next song after I played that
19:07
because everybody was like no but at the
19:09
end of the day I was like yo I look this
19:11
is for you to answer not I mean because
19:13
it was turn a big debate in the um
19:15
playback so I was just like
19:18
yo like you know what I mean like I
19:20
wanted y'all to give me the answer so I
19:22
just wanted to dig deep for the people
19:24
cuz it's a lot of fathers that's just
19:25
unheard you know what I mean like so I
19:26
wanted to give them something that that
19:29
they could fail and play when they going
19:30
through something like yeah this is a
19:32
fact and and still get the the females
19:34
some type of guidance when it come to
19:36
that like I know he cheated or whatever
19:38
but this guy really take care of his
19:40
children let him take care of his
19:42
children you ain't got to [ __ ] with him
19:43
no more you feel me like don't let your
19:45
kid go through if it's all about the
19:48
kids and we trying to raise better
19:49
children and all that then let's let's
19:52
figure that part out don't let your
19:53
bitterness [ __ ] up something that your
19:56
feelings is with your kid and cheat on
19:57
your kid yeah I mean so it's like that's
19:59
true I just wanted to paint that picture
20:01
you know what I mean it's too much of
20:02
that going on cheating impacts the kids
20:03
sometimes though too yeah but if you
20:05
mind if you keep CH what they say keep a
20:07
kid in a kid's place then everything
20:10
will be okay you know stuff that certain
20:12
parents went through that they didn't
20:13
tell you real [ __ ] your parents went
20:15
through something that they didn't tell
20:16
you stuff that they did but you know
20:18
stuff they held back you know right
20:20
right right if something was done in
20:21
private yeah you get what I'm trying to
20:22
say so it's like it's not like they
20:24
cheating in front of the kid some people
20:25
do be Wilding I'm talking about for the
20:26
most part people deal with that [ __ ] on
20:28
their own
20:29
yeah you know what I mean like this here
20:30
they figure that out later just raise
20:32
this kid long as you know this [ __ ] not
20:33
a scumbag when it come to his kids you
20:36
got to you got to you feel me you got to
20:38
get on your grown [ __ ] and do what's
20:40
right for your kid CU you want your kid
20:41
to be the best you don't want them to
20:42
feel y pain for what n man I need
20:45
answers
20:48
you j45 it's a great project out it's
20:51
called 30 Linux a you spell Linux l n o
20:56
XF lot of great features on there Mayo
20:59
is on there that's my brother Mayo y'all
21:01
got the song um what G what's welcome to
21:04
the G welcome to the ghetto Right facts
21:06
fact shout out to Mayo what you think of
21:08
Mayo's Evolution man he you know he he
21:11
really has become to evolve as a Artist
21:14
as a human being you know he's been very
21:17
transparent you know he's faced some
21:18
adversities in his life he lost his mom
21:20
since I met him but he's been very open
21:23
and I just really like where he is in
21:25
life right now same mhm yeah now I
21:27
respect May definitely his transition
21:29
was crazy too you know what I mean like
21:31
so I respect what he bring to this game
21:34
especially for New York he wear New York
21:36
on his back you know I mean like so big
21:39
shout out to Mayo B I see you be come on
21:41
Mayo on dve E he's on this project we
21:45
gonna play that Essence joint you know
21:47
um always see Dave standing next to
21:50
Harlem dudes man he he he he him gigs
21:53
how did Giggs become so Harlem bro Giggs
21:56
is my God Giggs is Harlem now man how
22:00
did that happen Giggs is I met Giggs in
22:03
the studio with East you know what I
22:05
mean and then Giggs reach out to me
22:07
shout out to Giggs you know I mean shout
22:08
out to Davies you know I mean then Giggs
22:10
reach outs to me he was like yo bro they
22:12
[ __ ] with you and [ __ ] like that you
22:13
ever want a link let's link put some
22:15
[ __ ] together I'm like all right bet
22:16
let's get it you know what I mean like
22:17
so next time he came in town and all
22:19
that he booked studio time we knocked
22:21
knocked a couple joints out actually you
22:22
know what I mean like and we started
22:24
clicking ever since then he real cool
22:26
guy like I I really rock with gigs how
22:28
similar cuz you got your stories of how
22:31
you came into the game and his stories
22:33
of how he came into the game people
22:35
don't realize how much a like we are
22:36
even though he's from the UK side yeah
22:39
what was that like for you it was um see
22:41
you know so crazy I really don't even
22:42
know how did he come in the game I kind
22:45
of just we never really dig deep like
22:47
that PA like I I think cuz like when we
22:49
in the studi always people around we
22:51
either rapping drinking smoking but we
22:53
talk about [ __ ] but not like the
22:55
upbringing for some reason like we never
22:57
caught that yet but that's supposed to
22:58
be going out there rocking with them
22:59
doing some shows and [ __ ] like that so
23:02
you going um he said he going to um um
23:05
well got to link me with the guy and
23:07
[ __ ] like that put on my team and they
23:08
going to figure out the dates and all
23:09
that so we could rock out there cuz the
23:11
song going crazy out there too um and
23:14
this is just a random question out of
23:16
the blue hav't lived in Harlem for now
23:18
24 Years
23:20
y' official Harlem B um I didn't I came
23:25
after Paul's became popular but it's
23:28
Paul the game the pause game will that
23:30
ever end N I don't think that end the
23:33
fact the fact that Cam and may still
23:35
doing it that's what keep me alive cuz
23:37
people be like yo you ain't gonna never
23:39
stop like yo soon as Cam and may stop
23:41
I'mma stop and them [ __ ] don't look
23:42
like they gonna stop ever you feel mean
23:44
like so I mean shout out to the big bros
23:47
man yo I love watching Cam and mace
23:51
man but it's I well you know if I have a
23:54
bad day I'll turn on cam and mace you
23:57
know and they go hard you they don't
23:59
miss a pause I got my whole team doing
24:01
this [ __ ] now man I can't talk you can't
24:04
say nothing anything you say is a pause
24:06
de ass sometimes [ __ ] don't even be Pa
24:09
you just got to make sure oh no that
24:11
[ __ ] is crazy like but that's just how
24:12
we up Insurance you got to make sure you
24:14
got cuz you be like [ __ ] be talking so
24:17
fast they want to make sure cuz a [ __ ]
24:19
stop you dead ass be like yo I ain't GNA
24:21
lie you could be talking about some
24:22
serious [ __ ] they like damn that's but I
24:24
ain't going to lie that was crazy but I
24:25
ain't going to lie that was serious
24:26
though you know what I mean like be like
24:29
yo that was a little crazy what i f what
24:32
you going through bro
24:39
pause me saying yeah pulling [ __ ]
24:42
cards not like that though not like that
24:45
but like catch it when you say something
24:47
crazy around him he say it Styles say it
24:49
you know what I mean I'm not sure about
24:50
luch though I'm pretty sure he did
24:52
though but but P be like that's that's a
24:54
pause right
24:58
P like does it throw you off if women
25:00
use it women um I mean some females do
25:04
use it on the Block because they used to
25:06
be around not so much that it's like but
25:08
they know they ain't got to but it just
25:09
turned into like a a way of talking like
25:12
honestly if that makes sense pause all
25:14
right I just threw that in that was an
25:16
insurance PA right there that's a big
25:17
fact um what was um Jada Jada has been
25:20
very supportive of you uh d block big
25:23
shout kiss the whole team you know the
25:26
most solid group ever um in in hip-hop
25:31
yes what what what was their involvement
25:33
what was J's involvement in this project
25:35
just
25:36
just um well I well we always s I'm in
25:39
the studio with him all the time you
25:40
know what I mean like so he always hear
25:42
all the songs I try to get like his
25:44
feedback with certain [ __ ] you know what
25:46
I mean like so I know the songs that he
25:48
really like you know what I mean like
25:49
because you know everybody got their own
25:50
style their own bag but he always hands
25:52
on with everything but he let me do me
25:55
like like right now like explore your
25:58
little situations and [ __ ] like that you
26:00
know I mean like but um but me and him
26:03
great you know I mean like he he very
26:05
involved with everything I got going on
26:07
you the nature is it the nature of it
26:09
just somebody who believes in you
26:11
supports stand next to you lend you
26:14
whatever brand Equity they have
26:16
resources they have but you really doing
26:18
your own thing knowing that you got that
26:20
support yeah yeah exactly that's what it
26:22
is yeah exactly cuz it's like you you
26:23
don't want to overdo anything like you
26:26
just you just see what's somebody's will
26:28
willing to um do and you appreciate it
26:31
like and this [ __ ] nobody ain't going to
26:33
really do too it's rare for somebody to
26:35
just do every like here here here here
26:37
you got to like kind of they give you
26:39
something let me see how you going to
26:40
move and I'm not even sure if you feel
26:41
like this but I learned As Time started
26:43
going with other people as well they
26:45
give you a little sun to see how you
26:46
going to move and you moving right you
26:48
know I mean cuz you know this game they
26:50
ain't going to baby you so they ain't
26:51
going to just keep giving you [ __ ] cuz
26:53
now that's going to create a monster now
26:55
then so now when you not getting nothing
26:57
your engine not going to be running no
26:58
more so it's like you going to wait for
26:59
somebody to give you to move you know
27:01
give you something to move pause so it's
27:03
like you just you know I mean so you get
27:05
used to It's a Grind and it ain't like
27:06
you really got to you really got to go
27:09
hard when you working with um anybody
27:11
you know what I mean like got to prove
27:13
it so well very supportive like always
27:16
on Deck know I mean I can't complain big
27:18
shout out to kiss big shout out to the
27:20
whole lock I appreciate y'all it's my
27:22
family B yeah um when you said it's a
27:25
Grime that was a pause and you got to
27:27
you got to go hard that was definitely a
27:29
pause right and you know I'm just I'm
27:32
just saying there was a lot of pause
27:34
moments in there
27:35
dog that's crazy that's crazy I just
27:40
paused a Harlem Night Kid you got me you
27:42
[ __ ] up now though I'm on your
27:44
H he ain't going to be a to say nothing
27:46
else for the rest of the show crazy done
27:48
y'all I got you you on my heels
27:51
dog that's
27:56
crazy look he waiting for me to say
28:00
am
28:03
y I'm listening close hey yo I already
28:08
know how to circumvent this
28:11
pause oh
28:13
my n you don't start we got to be
28:16
careful we got to be careful you know
28:17
I've been in Harlem 24 years it's going
28:20
you know it's going to be quite a task
28:22
to you know to catch me hey
28:26
yo yo y going to ruin it for me man
28:30
[Laughter]
28:33
damn all right man yo listen uh we're
28:36
celebrating this man Nino man give him a
28:38
round of applause he ain't got nothing
28:39
to prove he's already better than your
28:41
favorite rapper when he come up here
28:43
it's nothing for him to show off this
28:45
skill set matter of fact when he spit
28:47
versus is a celebration we just
28:49
acknowledging the culture how far he's
28:51
come and his journey with his family
28:53
with his business with his friends look
28:55
at him now he got that same jewelry he
28:57
had on too weeks or 3 weeks ago when I
28:59
came to his listening party and I was
29:01
impressed in I'm even more impressed in
29:04
person is that um that's real that's
29:07
Diamond
29:11
diamonds feel me got to get the test
29:14
your
29:15
heard got the other diamonds what's the
29:18
other Diamonds the lab Diamonds the lab
29:19
diamonds you can't tell the difference
29:21
that's a fact but guess what no they not
29:23
you
29:25
heard these all diamonds you heard
29:28
okay he worked he made it you know he
29:30
worked hard for it man um yeah but we
29:33
got some more work to do big facts
29:35
ladies and gentlemen the way we going to
29:37
cap off this week right now this is one
29:39
of the most premier Lyricist in the game
29:42
New York stand up this is the name you
29:44
don't mention enough New York you got
29:46
you got like a Golden Goose right here
29:48
and y'all don't even tap in like you
29:49
need to he should be on every platform
29:52
I'm shouting out my brother
29:53
justincredible give him a round of
29:55
applause U my guys over there on bars
29:58
right give them a round of applause on
30:00
the radar give them a round round of
30:02
applause all these platforms that
30:06
support the MC they understand I want
30:08
the radio DJs to support this man play
30:11
his music he's one of us he comes from
30:14
the culture he's at the nucleus of it I
30:16
don't have to speak much because he
30:18
knows where he's at he ain't that
30:20
Serious XM not not really he ain't at
30:23
Shade 45 he in the Valley of the hyenas
30:29
DB we got a
30:33
hyena look I've been nexted up for years
30:36
I'm a limbo I'm guessing at the big exx
30:38
and get the memo no shot so I got
30:41
extendo it came with a switch on the
30:43
[ __ ] like a Nintendo I ain't playing
30:45
with nobody day and night they told me I
30:47
was too damn humble they was right so I
30:50
don't give a [ __ ] if you broke you going
30:51
to pay the price cuz [ __ ] is really
30:53
sleeping on me now say good night name a
30:55
rapper you think is hot never I don't
30:57
give [ __ ] who they name I'm way better
30:59
yeah that's how I feel right now I'm way
