Are You Ready for Spring?

Tax season is here, and for homeowners, it is a good reminder to review more than just paperwork. I'm Ed O'Malley with Diane Turton, Realtors in Bay Head, and this is the Lucky Homeowner Maintenance Blueprint for spring. Here are three simple things to do right now. First, organize your home records. Gather receipts for repairs, upgrades, warranties, and service work so everything is in one place. Second, walk the property. Check gutters, drainage, siding, windows, and any visible wear that winter may have left behind. Third, review the systems inside the home. Replace HVAC filters, test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and look for any signs of moisture under sinks or near water connections. These are simple steps, but they can help you stay ahead of maintenance and better understand your home over time.
