Do you want to know the biggest mistake that prevents passing scores on the CPA
0:03
exams and why most CPA candidates have no idea that they're making this mistake
0:08
If you're working on your CPA exams tell me if this sounds familiar. You open a
0:12
new lesson in your review course and you start the video lecture. Five to ten
0:16
minutes in you realize that you've zoned out or you're just not understanding the
0:21
material so you start the video over. Now this might happen five to ten times
0:24
before you get to the point where you finish the video and feel like you understood it. So what was supposed to be a 30 minute video ended up taking you
0:31
about an hour and a half to two hours. Then you attempt to answer some of the
0:36
practice problems or the simulations but you realize you still don't know how to
0:40
answer those problems so you go back to watch the video lecture again. So it's
0:44
easy to see how a study plan can quickly spiral out of control. People fall behind
0:49
and feel completely overwhelmed because an innocent 30 minute video lecture turned into a three to four hour struggle that makes you question your
0:59
sanity. And that's not even considering trying to master ongoing retention and
1:04
then test day strategies like time management or managing exam anxiety. Now
1:09
the worst thing that can happen is that you spend months maybe even years with
1:14
these exams hanging around your neck. You're putting in all this hard work
1:17
you're sacrificing all your precious free time on your nights and weekends
1:22
studying for these exams, but it is just not translating on test day. My name is
1:27
Nate I run SuperfastCPA where we help CPA candidates solve this exact issue
1:32
For example, there is a very simple five minute exercise that you can do for any
1:37
new lesson before you watch the video lecture for that lesson that will make
1:41
the video then make ten times more sense after doing this quick exercise. You'll
1:47
also know exactly what you need to learn from that lesson in the same context
1:52
that you'd actually be seeing it on exam day. So just knowing this five minute exercise will save you hours on a daily basis. Now I'm going to be doing a
2:00
quick little training class the next few days where I will teach you this five
2:04
minute exercise as well as several other high leverage strategies completely for
2:08
free, so click this video at any time to register for that. Now let's go back to
2:13
the biggest mistake. So the number one biggest mistake is simply a lack of
2:18
strategy as you execute your daily study process. It's like trying to chop down a
2:24
tree with pure brute strength without ever taking the time to just stop and
2:28
sharpen the axe, which would make the tree fall down much faster much sooner
2:33
with a lot less wasted effort. Now you can't blame people for not knowing this
2:37
stuff because while the review courses present the actual exam material, they
2:42
don't teach you any of this strategy stuff. Going back to that example, most
2:46
people just assume that if you don't understand a lesson, your only real tool
2:50
is to just keep watching the video lecture until you do understand it. So in
2:54
my own CPA journey I made this exact same mistake. I spent my first three
2:58
months studying eight hours a day, very similar to the struggle I just described
3:03
but I was working hard, I was putting in the time, yet I still went in and failed
3:09
that first section. By that time I had started my first public accounting job
3:13
so I had very limited time to study, but when I saw FAR in person that first time
3:19
I had two distinct aha moments or light bulbs go off as to how to study
3:24
differently. So simply out of necessity I was only spending two hours a day with
3:28
my review course, but I was studying much differently. Then I started passing
3:33
sections. I ended up going four for four over just a few months, so me with my
3:38
same brain, the first three months studied eight hours a day to get one
3:43
failing score. The next three months I pass all four exams only studying two
3:47
hours a day. So nothing changed with my raw IQ or my brainpower, it obviously
3:53
came down to the strategies I was using, how I actually studied each day. Like I
3:58
said, we now help CPA candidates pass their CPA exams much more efficiently by
4:04
implementing this strategic approach, which I refer to as the Gordon Ramsey
4:09
approach, because it consists of six key ingredients. When someone is doing all
4:14
six of these strategies in their study process and they're doing them how we
4:18
teach you to do them, it is honestly hard to fail. Now I mentioned I'm doing a free
4:23
little training class the next few days where I will teach you these six key
4:26
ingredients and how to do them. You can apply these strategies to any review
4:31
course, it doesn't matter what review course you're using. Now this training will be in webinar format over the next few days, so to learn these strategies
4:39
for free you just need to choose one of the upcoming times and then actually
4:44
show up to the session. We don't teach this stuff for free anywhere else. Also
4:48
each session, because it's a webinar, it has limited spots. So click the video now
4:54
to go to the registration page and reserve your spot on one of the upcoming
4:58
times. Now if you're skeptical or if you're wondering if this will work for
5:02
you, you be the judge. Attend one of the sessions and if you don't have several
5:07
aha moments, several light bulbs going off as I walk you through the strategies
5:12
feel free to leave at any time. Now as I said before, these same strategies, in
5:17
fact this same training, has helped thousands of CPA candidates improve their own study process, such as Coral. So Coral had a new baby, she was extremely
5:27
busy at work, and she was starting to feel a lot of pressure at work because
5:31
she'd been in the position for a few years. She'd worked on the CPA exams but
5:35
it just wasn't coming together. She saw one of our ads just like this one, attended one of these same free trainings, implemented the strategies, and
5:42
now she's done with her CPA exams. And if it worked for me, it can work for anyone
5:48
Thank you so much for just putting this out there and basically changing my
5:53
life because if it wasn't for that ad, I guarantee you I wouldn't be a CPA today
6:00
Or there's Ben. When it came down to it, he just did not want to sacrifice his
6:05
evenings with his family to study for the CPA exams. He came across one of
6:10
these same free trainings, saw that there was a different way to still get it done
6:15
and now he's done with his CPA exams. So yeah, I basically did that for all four
6:19
tests. And I passed all four of them. I think I started in November of 2019 and
6:25
I passed my fourth test, REG, in February of 2020. As soon as I passed, yeah, it was like a super condensed period of time
6:37
Or there's Jade. Before she even started the study process, she looked around
6:41
online to try and find a proven study plan to follow. She saw one of these same
6:46
ads, saw the same training, implemented the strategies, and passed her exams over
6:52
a few months on the first try. Sounds like you crushed the exams
6:58
Somehow I passed all four on my first try. And you did it in two months? Yes
7:05
So, if you would like to learn these six strategies so that you can save
7:09
yourself time, money, stress, and frustration by learning how to be much
7:14
more efficient with your study time, click this video now, register for an
7:18
upcoming session, and I will see you there
