Red Bull Air Race (RBAR) Lake Balaton Site survey 2019

New race location in Hungary meant that we could no longer flying under the iconic Széchenyi chain bridge in Budapest. However, a new location at Lake Balaton and new track design gave us the opportunity to try something new. Balaton 2019 gave race pilots much more freedom in the track and each team had a different strategy, some gambled penalties and disqualification but in the end it led to one of the most dynamic and entertaining RBAR races.
