Red Bull Air Race (RBAR) Parallel Track Testing, Ocaña 2019

Prior to the closure of the RBAR, we were testing a new format planned for 2020 inception. The final 4 - Parallel tracks involved 2 race planes in the track at the same time, with a lead judge formation aircraft leading them into the track and starting the race. A simplified pylon chicane in each track and vertical turning manoeuvres at each end of the track. The tracks were a positioned with a safe separation distance from one another but giving the perception of close proximity to spectators.
