EXCAVATOR WORKING ON RUBBLE LA GUAIRA, VENEZUELA - JUNE 29: A magnitude 4.2 aftershock struck northern Venezuela on Monday morning, shaking the capital city and surrounding coastal regions, authorities confirmed. The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (FUNVISIS) reported that the tremor occurred at 7.01 am local time (1101 GMT). The earthquake was felt across various regions of Greater Caracas, prompting early-morning concern among residents. No immediate casualties, injuries, or significant infrastructural damages have been reported by local emergency services. Two earthquakes measuring magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela on Wednesday, 39 seconds apart. The death toll from two powerful earthquakes climbed to 1,450 on Sunday, National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez said. Search and rescue operations have continued across the earthquake-hit areas following the devastating earthquakes.
