Helicopters and ground crews worked to slow the fire's advance as towering flames and thick smoke spread across the mountainside near the town of Beulah. The wildfire remained 0% contained, while pre-evacuation orders remained in effect for several communities in Pueblo and Fremont counties. Officials said the fire was burning about two miles from Bishop Castle as firefighters continued structure protection operations.
