Some roads in the area were blocked to manage the traffic flow. The promotion took place at a Shell gas station on the 10,000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard and ran from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This special offer was designed to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of "T-Mobile Tuesdays,” a weekly rewards program for T-Mobile customers that launched in 2016. The promotional price of $1.99 per gallon mirrored the rate drivers paid when T-Mobile Tuesdays first began.
