Owensboro, United States - September 12, 2026 U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Brandon Guevara, a demonstration parachutist with the U.S. Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights, recorded a point-of-view aerial view as fellow Golden Knights parachutists flew side by side over Owensboro during the Owensboro Air Show on September 11, 2026. The parachutists carried the American and Prisoner of War/Missing-In-Action flags as they flew over the Kentucky city. On September 12, U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Erik Dolores, another Golden Knights demonstration parachutist, carried a large American flag above the Ohio River while a fellow Golden Knight flew alongside during the opening of the air show. The opening jump showcased the precision, teamwork and airborne skill Golden Knights Soldiers use to connect communities across the country with the U.S. Army.
