Türkiye: Türkiye-Egypt partnership to begin sales of HAMZA-1 UAV.

PROMOTIONAL VIDEO OF HAMZA-1 UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV) ANKARA, TÜRKİYE - SEPT. 10, 2026: Turkish defense company HAVELSAN and Egypt's Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) have signed an agreement to begin sales of the HAMZA-1 vertical takeoff and landing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) they jointly developed. The agreement was signed during the 2026 El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt. It follows a strategic cooperation agreement signed by HAVELSAN and AOI in August 2025 to jointly produce autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles in Egypt. The first HAMZA-1 system developed under the partnership was unveiled at the EDEX defense exhibition in Cairo in December 2025. Under the latest agreement, HAMZA-1 deliveries to different users are expected to begin.
