Türkiye: Turkish Chief of General Staff meets Somali army chief in Ankara.

.ANKARA, TÜRKİYE - AUG. 10, 2026: Turkish Chief of General Staff Gen. Selcuk Bayraktaroglu met with Somali Chief of Defense Forces Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Mohamed Mohamud in the capital Ankara on Monday, Aug. 10. Bayraktaroglu welcomed Mohamud with an official ceremony at the General Staff Headquarters. Bayraktaroglu and Mohamud later on held a closed-door meeting. Mohamud is in Ankara at the invitation of Bayraktaroglu.
