Located in Türkiye's western Aydın province, the approximately 2,500-year-old temple is known as the world's third-largest ancient temple. The night museum program allows visitors to explore the site's historic and mythological atmosphere as special lighting illuminates the archaeological complex. Visitors can walk through the temple grounds, experiencing the monument in a dramatically different setting after sunset. The site features the naos, the inner courtyard once used for worship, the remains of its 112 columns, and sculptures of Medusa, the figure from Greek mythology who, according to ancient belief, served as a protective symbol for the temple. The program offers an alternative way to experience one of Türkiye's most significant archaeological landmarks while showcasing its rich cultural heritage beyond daylight hours.
