Organizers said 1,220 companies from 17 countries and regions are participating in the congress, highlighting rapid growth in the global drone and low-altitude aviation sector. This year’s event also focuses on counter-drone technology and electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL), with several Chinese firms unveiling manned eVTOL prototypes aimed at urban air mobility. Shenzhen has emerged as a major hub for the drone industry, with local manufacturers accounting for a significant share of the global consumer and industrial drone markets.
