Hyperlapse footage captured clouds flowing across and surrounding the mountain peaks, producing rapidly changing scenes over the landscape. The Amanos Mountains, officially known as the Nur Mountains, stretch for about 175 kilometers from Kahramanmaras toward Samandag in Hatay, running roughly parallel to the eastern Mediterranean coast. The mountain range has also played an important role throughout history, with its slopes and passes hosting monasteries, castles and other historic sites.
