NATO Secretary-General Rutte announces the joint procurement of up to 10 airborne early warning and control aircraft to replace alliance's aging E-3 Sentry AWACS fleet. The high-level forum is being held at the ATO Congresium in Ankara. The 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government will be held in Ankara on July 7-8, with 52 leaders from 32 allied countries and nine invited countries expected to attend.
