Rainfall reached 177.6 millimetres at one monitoring station between midnight and 2 p.m., while another recorded 64.6 mm in a single hour around noon. Floodwater reached about three feet, or waist level, along Kalaw Avenue between Maria Orosa Street and Taft Avenue, where the road was reported impassable to all vehicles. Water also reached knee level at the intersection of Bambang Street and Rizal Avenue, while flooding was recorded on roads around Manila City Hall.
