VARIOUS OF ASEAN FOREIGN MINISTERS AND SENIOR DIPLOMATS ATTENDING CONSULTATION SESSION ON MYANMAR METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES - JULY 21, 2026: Foreign ministers and senior diplomats from ASEAN member states held a consultation session on the situation in Myanmar during the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Pasay City, Metro Manila, on Tuesday, July 21. The week-long summit, running through July 24, brings together foreign ministers and senior officials from ASEAN countries and major partners, including Türkiye, the United States, China, Russia, Japan and several European Union member states. Discussions are focused on geopolitical challenges, energy security, trade, food security, regional cooperation, the conflict in Myanmar and the implementation of the Five-Point Consensus, as well as the impact of the US-Iran conflict. ASEAN was founded in 1967 and includes Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Timor-Leste.
