Footage showed houses, shops and roads submerged in floodwaters in Rawalpindi. Vehicles and pedestrians moved through flooded streets as heavy rain continued in the area. According to the latest data from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Pakistan's nationwide monsoon death toll has reached 159, with 473 reported injuries since the start of the rainy season. Heavy downpours, flash floods, and landslides continue to impact multiple regions, prompting high urban flood alerts in major cities.
