Canada: FURNITURE SENT FLYING AS POWERFUL WINDS BATTER ONTARIO DURING SEVERE STORM.
Sep 4, 2026
Ontario, Canada - September 02, 2026 ONTARIO, CANADA SEPTEMBER 2, 2026 Security-camera footage from a home in Ontario's Greater Toronto Area captures powerful winds and torrential rain sweeping through the property during severe storms on September 2. Dense mist reduces visibility as fierce gusts rip across the porch, sending blue patio cushions and furniture scattering across the brick surface. The storm also lashes the driveway, with branches, a bin and other debris being blown across the rain-soaked ground. The severe weather came as Environment Canada issued tornado warnings across parts of the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario. The storms brought destructive winds reported at more than 110 kilometres per hour, along with large hail, flooding, power outages and major disruption across the region. While the footage prompted questions about whether a tornado may have passed through the area, the visible wind pattern appears more consistent with powerful straight-line winds or a downburst rather than confirmed tornado rotation.
