Mali: Heavy Fighting Continues Around Anefis Military Camp in Northern Mali.

Mali - July 07, 2026 Heavy fighting has reportedly continued around the Anefis military camp in northern Mali, as FLA and JNIM fighters intensify efforts to break through the camp’s defenses. Rebel-linked sources claim that the remaining Russian-backed Africa Corps personnel and Malian army soldiers are fortified inside the western side of the base, amid ongoing clashes and attempts to breach their positions.
