Israeli Forces Storm A Mosque East of Nablus.

Nablus - May 16, 2026 Israeli occupation forces stormed the Khirbet Tana mosque in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, during a raid on the area that residents say is subjected to daily settler attacks, displacement attempts, and threats of home demolitions. According to local reports, Israeli soldiers entered the mosque area and harassed worshippers while trying to prevent young Palestinians from performing prayers. Despite the raid and pressure from the forces, the worshippers continued their prayers and were ultimately able to complete them. Residents of Khirbet Tana say the community has faced escalating attacks and restrictions in recent months as tensions continue across the occupied West Bank.
