Israeli Forces Say Hamas Nukhba Squad Commander Killed in Khan Younis.

Gaza - September 10, 2026 Israeli forces said a strike in Khan Younis last Thursday killed Jihad Samih Mahmoud Ismail, described as a Hamas Nukhba Force squad commander. According to the IDF, he took part in the October 7 attack and in the abduction of Israeli tank crewmen near Nirim. The military said he had recently been involved in advancing attacks in violation of the ceasefire.
