VARIOUS OF DAMAGED VEHICLE AT STRIKE SITEGAZA CITY, PALESTINE - JULY 1, 2026: An Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle with two missiles on Omar al-Mukhtar Street in central Gaza City on Wednesday. People gathered around the vehicle as emergency responders treated those injured in the attack. The wounded were transported by ambulance to Al-Shifa Hospital for medical treatment. According to data from Gaza's Ministry of Health, Israeli ceasefire violations since the Oct. 10, 2025 truce took effect have resulted in the deaths of 1,045 Palestinians and injuries to 3,380 others, the majority of them women and children. Since October 2023, over 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 wounded, in addition to widespread destruction affecting around 90% of Gaza's civilian infrastructure.
