Iran: Technical Fault Forces Iranian Passenger Jet to Turn Back.

Iran - September 16, 2026 A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 flying from Mashhad to Kermanshah was forced to return to Mashhad Airport after a reported technical malfunction shortly after takeoff. Local reports said one of the aircraft’s tires burst and the engine was damaged. Video from inside the plane showed tense passengers during the incident.
