India: 10-metre iron pipes fall from pickup van, motorcyclist struck during sudden roadside mishap.

Occurred on August 21, 2026 / Thrissur, Kerala, India. Info: Sherin John died after several iron rods from a moving pickup van pierced his body during a sudden traffic stop. An autorickshaw made a U-turn which forced Sherin to brake sharply. The loosely secured rods reportedly slid forward and struck him. He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Police seized the pickup van and arrested its driver. Restriction:Not Distributable in Germany.
