.BERLIN, GERMANY - AUG. 12, 2026: People watched a livestream of the partial solar eclipse at the Zeiss-Grossplanetarium in Berlin, Germany, on Wednesday (Aug. 12). The Zeiss-Grossplanetarium has invited everyone to observe the partial solar eclipse as part of the Long Night of Astronomy, with free admission to the event. As previously announced by the Stiftung Planetarium Berlin, up to around 85 percent of the Sun is expected to be obscured by the Moon at the eclipse’s peak in Berlin.
