Cairo, Egypt - May 03, 2026 Egyptian officials announce a new natural gas discovery in the Nile Delta region of northern Egypt on May 3, 2026. The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources said the discovery has a projected production of 50 million cubic feet per day and was made through drilling an exploratory well in Kafr El-Sheikh governorate.
