Gaza Strip - August 04, 2026 Video filmed by the Israel Defense Forces shows troops locating and dismantling an underground route containing dozens of rockets belonging to terrorist organizations operating in Gaza. Body-camera footage from an Oketz Unit military dog captures the animal moving through a dark, narrow underground tunnel in the southern Gaza Strip. The dog's camera records stacks of cylindrical rockets stored along the tunnel floor. According to the Israel Defense Forces, Paratroopers Brigade troops, supported by the Oketz K9 unit, located the underground route in the southern Gaza Strip, east of the Yellow Line, in early August 2026. Engineering units from the Gaza Division and the Yahalom Unit later dismantled the tunnel as part of ongoing operations to clear terrorist infrastructure above and below ground.
