Aerial shots of flooded town Storyline As Typhoon Narra's impact spreads across multiple areas of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Guangxi Military District of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) continues to mobilize militia forces for emergency rescue and disaster relief to address the typhoon and its secondary disasters. Since August 21, the 19th typhoon of the year has unleashed torrential rain across Guangxi,with rivers surged past warning levels. Parts of Fangchenggang and Chongzuo cities were hit by severe flooding. In response, the Chongzuo Military Sub-district dispatched more than 400 militiamen to Longzhou County, Ningming County, and Pingxiang County on Monday to evacuate residents, deliver essential supplies and reinforce dikes. In Fangchenggang, Shangsi County has also dispatched militia forces to Zaimiao Town and Pingfu Town, prioritizing house cleanup, road clearing, and the construction of temporary shelters.
