China: Exhibition on 90th anniversary of Long March victory opens to public in Beijing.

"The Great Expedition," a themed exhibition marking the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, opened to the public on Thursday at the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution in Beijing. The first day of public access fell on the first day of China's Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, drawing large crowds. Running as a permanent display, the exhibition is centered on the theme of carrying forward the great spirit of the Long March and embarking on the new long march of the new era. The exhibition is divided into seven main sections plus a forward-looking segment and covers an exhibition area of approximately 3,300 square meters, presenting a panoramic account of the Communist Party of China's leadership of the Red Army in completing the epic military trek from 1934 to 1936. The exhibition features 875 cultural relics, accompanied by 186 documents and 357 photographs and charts, bringing to life 60 vivid stories from the Long March. More than 300 relics and documents are on display for the first time. Fourteen classic scenes from the Long March have been recreated in the exhibition, giving visitors a three-dimensional view of the history. Shotlist: Beijing, China - Sept 25, 2026: 1.
