The annual event, organized by the Dutch Windmill Foundation, was held for the 53rd time this year, according to organizers. At Zaanse Schans, a tourist destination north of Amsterdam, 18th-century windmills attracted visitors. The open-air heritage site includes historic houses, windmills, warehouses and traditional workshops reflecting Dutch cultural heritage.
