Supporters gathered near BC Place Stadium and in fan areas across Vancouver, chanting in support of the national team ahead of the highly anticipated encounter. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. local time in Vancouver (0400 GMT / 0700 Sunday in Türkiye). The 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held for the first time in three countries with 48 teams, will kick off on Thursday.
