The tournament marks Bosnia and Herzegovina's first World Cup appearance since 2014. Football enthusiasts began rallies days in advance, previously gathering at Centennial Park during training sessions to boost player morale. Canada currently hosts a diaspora of approximately 36,000 people of Bosnian descent.
