Australian team takes part in European Tram Driver's Championships in Warsaw.

Warsaw, Poland "Ian, a member of the Australian team lost his luggage on the way to Warsaw but he also says that being there and participating is a "win from the start". More than twenty teams are practicing on Friday, September 18th 2026 for the upcoming 12th Tram-EM European Tram Driver's Championships. The annual competition tests professional tram operators from across Europe on precision driving, safety procedures and emergency response skills. This year a guest team from Australia is taking part as they will host next year's championships.
