Protesters carrying Albanian flags and banners marched from Skanderbeg Square to the prime minister's office, chanting slogans including "Albania is not for sale." Demonstrators oppose the sale of a beach in the coastal Zvernec area as part of a tourism project that local media have linked to investors associated with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. Prime Minister Edi Rama has rejected claims that the project belongs to the Trump family, while Albanian media have reported that the country's Special Anti-Corruption Structure has opened an investigation into the development.
