Mandela relative calls for U.S. to deport Afrikaners

Nelson Mandela's great-grandson wants President Trump to deport the South Africans he allowed into the U.S. as refugees

The younger Mandela says he opened a criminal investigation into the 60-plus people from Africa who came to America in May as refugees

But he told Newsweek they don't qualify under refugee status. Once they land here in South Africa, we must arrest them for lying, for us spending thousands and thousands of rents, of our tax money, flying presidents to our president flying from South Africa to the United States to go and explain something that he shouldn't even go there because it was a lie

Mandela there making reference to President Donald Trump's meeting in May with the South

African president. During that meeting, President Trump said there was a genocide against white

farmers in South Africa even playing a video showing a politician chanting killed the farmers But South Africa president pushed back saying that not what happening in his country Now when you look at the videos I mean how does it get worse And these are people that

are officials and they're saying that kill the white farmer and take their land

I would say if there was Afrikaner farmer genocide, I can bet you these three gentlemen

would not be here, including my minister of agriculture. President Trump has continued to

welcome in South Africans, taking criticism from Democrats for denying refugee status

to other asylum seekers. Newsweek reports the South African resettlement program is being scaled and the numbers will increase over the next couple months

Meanwhile, Mandela recently joined the economic freedom fighters. That's an opposition party

headed by the man seen in the video played by President Trump during his meeting with the South African president
