Clancy jury returns for sixth day as second deadlock raises possibility of mistrial

Jurors in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial are back deliberating for a sixth day this morning

with the possibility of a mistrial now very real. The jury has spent about 30 hours over five days trying to reach a verdict

and jurors have told the judge twice now that it's deadlocked. The second time came Wednesday afternoon

That led Judge William Sullivan to give the jury what's known as the Tui Rodriguez charge

essentially asking jurors to take another look at their positions and make one more effort to reach a unanimous verdict

They deliberated for another hour and a half. At this point, what I'm going to do is, first off, thank you for your time, your commitment to this case

I'm going to ask you to come back tomorrow morning, 9 o'clock, and resume your deliberations

So they be back at it this morning and if they report another deadlock Sullivan could declare a mistrial The jury deciding whether Clancy was criminally responsible when she killed her three young children in 2023 Clancy does not deny killing them Her attorneys say she was suffering

from postpartum psychosis and hearing a voice commanding her to kill her children and herself

Prosecutors say she was not psychotic and planned the killings. And there was another development

outside the courthouse. 56-year-old Dawn Light was arraigned Wednesday, accused of intimidating

jurors after police found photos and videos on her phone that included jurors leaving the court

Light pleaded not guilty. Her attorney says she wasn't trying to film the jury

She was there to see Clancy. And when reporters asked her about it, Light was pretty direct

Dawn, why were you filming? Because I wanted to see Lindsay. Did you mean to intimidate the jury

You thought you were going to see Lindsay. I was going to. I did. So why were you purged by her

To see Lindsay. To see Lindsay. And I did see her. She's getting picked up by the van
