Illegal border crossings fell to another historic low, with the lowest number of migrant encounters in decades recorded in June.

as illegal crossings have hit another record low. In June, Border Patrol encountered the lowest

number of migrants along the southwestern border since the 1960s when the agency started tracking

the data. According to Border Patrol data released by the Department of Homeland Security

agents apprehended just over 6,000 migrants between southern border ports of entry last month

That's down from more than 83,000 in June of 2024. June's numbers also beat out the record low set a

few months back in March when there were over 7,000 illegal border crossing arrests. That was

down from over 137,000 the year before. According to the new data, on June 28th

And for the entire month, CBP says they didn't release a single apprehended migrant into the U.S
