What's going on YouTube

And today's Saturdays are for the balance workout. I worked on some dunk technique as well as did heavy punch squads
0:32
Now as I'm getting into this dunk video, I kind of wanted to
0:36
to share something about my training and why I am doing what I'm doing. I'm working on a 10-4
0:42
rim because I want to push myself to the next level. My thoughts are if I can get the same dunks
0:49
that I do on a 10-4 rim, when I come down to regulation, it's going to feel like cake. It's going to
0:54
feel super easy So it also giving me the stimulus to kind of keep challenging myself and keep progressing in training It humbling pushing myself on this level and truly being honest with myself at this level at the 10 room
1:10
I know some people on social media are claiming that they're dunking on 10-4 and higher
1:16
but, you know, I want to be real and upfront with what I'm doing. So had a really good session
1:23
got some really decent attempts at East Bay Alvert, East Bay, East Bay, and windmills
1:28
And other than that, I was just really working on just takeoff technique and getting as high as I can with all of my ducks

I truly believe you could set anything in your mind to. Nothing is impossible. You can achieve all your dreams if you're willing to put that work in
1:54
So unfortunately, the East Bay was not there for me today. I wanted to stop and give myself a little bit of energy and started with the front squat Now earlier this week I actually attempted a heavy front squat 445 and it was a
2:11
fail, but it was a really good attempt. So I knew I might have it in the bag today if I focused on
2:17
my technique. When I was lifting, I felt really good and I noticed after when I was yzing
2:25
video that my technique was there, pretty low, the core stable. So right now I'm really excited. I'm really
2:31
excited about where I'm at of my training and how strong I feel. I know once I start to
2:37
delode and focus on just plios and dunking, that my hope is the vertical is going to be
2:44
at or above my expectations in terms of like how high I can jump and how well I respond
3:00
4-01 for a double. felt really good I felt really strong driving out of the hole My position felt okay I didn feel like the bar was sliding or anything like that So I knew that if I could continue to keep my technique keep my form that I was going to get a big lift
3:20
And here is 423, my current personal best in the front squat. And when I got down and drove straight up
3:28
I knew that I was going to have another big, big lift in me. So I went for it, 400
3:35
143 pounds. Obviously when I step back, it's always heavy. But I truly believe, you know
3:42
training heavy is a surefire way to excite the central nervous system, put yourself in a position
3:50
to be as explosive and as powerful as possible. At least for me, that is my philosophy. That's
3:56
how I train. And it has, you know, obviously given me some big benefits with my vertical. I finished
4:04
the workout with some weighted reverse hypers and that's the workout please like and subscribe take
