So I really messed up when I prepared for Dunk League 3, which is one of the biggest dunk contests ever

I was practicing for the distance dunk challenge part of it, and I pulled my hamstring. I was super upset about this because after seeing how bad it was, I quickly realized I didn't have a shot at winning anymore

I even told my friends and family that I wasn't going to do well because I couldn't even walk properly, never mind run and jump

That wasn't going to stop me from trying my best anyways. So I went and got myself some treatment

I called my home physios for advice, did some rehab work, and I hope for the best

On day one of the dunk contest, I said, whatever, I'm just going to take a bunch of ibuprofen

So I did the first couple rounds with a walk-up approach because I couldn't run into it. And so far, it was doing better than I expected

Then it lit up really good on the how high challenge. On day two, I took even more ibuprofen and Advil because I was really going to need it for the distance dunk challenge

And so far, my hamstring is feeling a lot better than day one. So for the distance dunk, I used about 80% of the speed and then decided to mostly use my other leg to push off of to get most of that speed

And somehow, we nailed the first try. I was freaking shocked. I was honestly starting to feel like Wolverine or something

Like with the way I was recovering. Fortunately, I went on to win the dunk contest somehow. Although I did add another injury, a partial tear to my bicep
