Denver Nuggets Fire Head Coach & GM: NBA Team Shakeup & Analysis

What is the NBA now? The White Lotus? Because clearly nobody is safe anymore after the Nuggets

just fired everybody today. So let's actually start with Calvin Booth, the Nuggets GM

because I actually think he deserved to go. I mean, there have just been too many mistakes

he's made over the last five years as Nuggets GM, and he's just kind of failed to surround

Nikola Jokic with enough talent. But also, and this is what I want to kind of get to with Michael

Malone, is it their fault that Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray can't stay healthy? Or that their

first round pick this year, Deron Holmes, tore his Achilles in Summer League. I just don't understand

the shelf life we give NBA head coaches. Like in the NFL, this just never happens. I mean, by NBA

standards, Mike Tomlin would have been gone years ago. And sure, have the Nuggets been struggling

over the last month? Yeah. Are there reports that Malone might have lost the locker room? I guess

But you just can't sit here and tell me that firing Michael Malone for a guy whose last head

coaching job was at a high school with 370 students is a good move
