The Orchard Zone is found in the far reaches of Hotham resort and is home to best groomers which can you lap all day long. We were lucky enough to get first chair on this picture perfect bluebird day. Hotham is considered as the powder capital of Australia and is the only resort in the southern hemisphere where the village is located at the top of the mountain. Yes, that means you can park your car and drop straight in, no waiting to get up the mountain on a lift.  Nestled at the top of the Victorian high country in the Great Dividing Range, Hotham offers 320 hectares of terrain that is considered some of the most challenging in Australia, but there are still plenty of options for newbies too.
